June
"I can't get him to talk," Clint walked into the room. He was just trying to get information out of Loki. He wasn't the first person to try and fail either.
Nat sighed, "I'll try."
"Wait, I have an idea," Tony sat up a little straighter in his chair.
"What is it?" Bucky asked.
"I was thinking that we could have June ask Loki some questions."
"Why June?" Sam asked.
"Just trust me," Tony turned to me in his seat, "Your up Shockwave."
"Yeah, yeah," I got out of my chair and headed towards the door, "Wait, what am I asking him?"
Steve sighed, "We'll write down some questions."
************
"Sooooo, why are you here?" I asked spinning a pen in between my fingers.
"Are you reading the questions off of a sheet of paper?"
His accent is weird. I like it.
"Yeah. They gave me a list of questions to ask. Why is your accent different then Thor's? I thought you were from the same place."
"That's a long story, besides don't you have other questions for me?" Loki leaned towards me.
"Uh, yeah, but you didn't answer the first one I asked," I leaned towards him.
"And what was that question?" He leaned even closer to me, stealing a glance at my lips.
"Why are you here?"
"For you of course."
"W-why me? There are a million other reasons that you could be here, but you chose me."
"Yes."
"Yes?" I echoed him, "Is that all you're going to say? Yes? You literally just told me you came here because you... love me," I looked into his eyes, "Is that why you're here?"
Loki licked his lips, "Yes. I'm here because I love you."
************
I walked out of the interrogation room in a daze.
"So what'd he say?" Tony asked, snapping me out of the daze.
"You weren't listening?" I asked, an eyebrow raised.
"No. Tony said we didn't need too," Sam looked over to Tony with an annoyed expression.
"He said he was here for- for me," I looked at each of the Avengers. They either looked grossed out or like they were gonna kick his butt.
"That's it. I'm gonna kill him," Bucky said striding over to the door.
Steve put a hand on his chest, "Nope. Sit down."
Bucky rolled his eyes, but sat down.
"Did he say anything else?" Steve asked looking at the list of questions in my hand.
"He'll stop if he- if he gets to li-live at the compound."
Third person pov
"Nope! No way! I am not gonna let him live in one of my buildings!" Tony crossed his arms like a three year old.
"Tony I don't like this either, but he won't stop," Steve said talking slowly like Tony was a child.
"But it my building! And it's Loki! God of mischief! How do we know we can even trust him?" Tony looked at each of the Avengers to see if they had a response.
"We can trust him because he's doing this for love," June said looking Tony in the eye, "You can't trick your own heart into loving someone."
Tony looked at the other Avengers to see if they had a counter argument, but they didn't. Not all of them fully agreeded with June, but she had a good point. No one would do this if it wasn't for love, even if it is kinda weird.
"So we just give him a room at the compound and he- what? Stops attacking?" Rhodes asked.
"I guess," Wanda added shrugging her shoulders.
"What other plan do we have? Lock him up? What good did that do last time?" Clint asked.
"It didn't do sh*t. He escaped and split us apart," Nat mumbled.
"Peter, June why don't you go out into the hall while we discuss this," Steve made it clear that June shouldn't argue with him, but June tends not to listen very well.
"But we-"
"Hallway. Now," Steve opened the door long enough for June and Peter to get through. He closed it sharply behind them.
June
Peter leaned up against the wall, "So you got a new suit?"
"Yeah," I leaned on the wall next to him.
He reached for my hood and pulled it off. My hair fell into my face.
I giggled, "Well that worked wonderfully," I tucked my hair behind my ears.
"Did you get a hair cut?" I could see him trying to see what my old hair looked like.
"Yeah. I got it cut up to my shoulders," I marked with a finger where my hair used to go, just below my shoulders.
"It looks good," Peter said smirking.
"Thanks," I glanced down at my feet and when I looked back up at Peter he didn't look very good.
"Pete? You all right?" I asked, grabbing his arm.
"Yeah. I think I just need to lay down," He was suddenly very shakey and pale.
His head dipped down to his shoulder and he fell on to my chest, sending us both to the ground.
"Peter!" I yelled as we fell.
