Packing

I lead Bucky to my room. 12 was the number on the door. I opened the door and there was my roommate in the doorway. She looked mad. Not like you stole my food mad, the mom found you sneaking in at 1 in the morning mad. Those types of mad could be the same thing though.

"Where have you been?" She said louder then she should have, "And who's this? June you're going to be in so much trouble!"

"Lilian I had a meet n' greet, this is one of the guys adopting me."

She calmed down a little bit, "You could have told me where you were. I was really worried. I thought you had gotten into another fight," she looked at me for a while before hugging me.

"I was going to come back to the room after I finished the chapter I was on, but they decided to adopt me."

Lilian pushed me away, "That means I won't be able to see you anymore. Noooo you can't go. I won't let you take her!" She pulled me away from Bucky.

"Lilian I can come visit you, and we can have sleepovers, and we'll probably still go to the same school," I turned to Bucky, "Right?"

"I have no idea where you'll be going to school. That's Steve's job. And sorry to rush you with goodbyes but we gotta hurry if I'm going to get there in time to sign your papers."

"I'll start packing."

I picked up the picture of me and Lilian off my nightstand, "Last thing," I whispered.

Bucky put a hand on my doorframe and walked in, "What's that?"

"The adoption lady took all of us to the fair last year. This is Lilian and me after we both won the dart throwing game," I turned around to Bucky with the picture in my hand.

"Bucky. I don't want to go."

"Kid, we can keep you in the same school and we can set up sleepovers and stuff, but... I know it's going to be hard. We'll work it out. Ok?"

"Ok," I put the picture in my suite case, "I think I'm ready."
