Hey ya'll. Sorry I haven't updated these past two Friday's, I've been hella busy. College starts tomorrow and I am absolutely scared shitless LMAO. Anyway, double update for you since I haven't updated in two weeks. Enjoy.
"We got an incoming trauma, GSW to the chest, BP 75 over 38 and falling," one of the EMTs shout as we enter the ambulance bay and nurses and doctors begin rushing around. I'm pushed out of the way as they get Harry out of the ambulance and wheel him into the hospital. I try to follow but a nurse stops me.
"Ma'am, are you his wife?"
"Girlfriend," I whisper out.
"Okay, I need you to give me some medical history if you can."
"I can't, I barely know anything about his past, we've only been dating two months. This wasn't supposed to happen, this wasn't supposed to happen," I repeat as I begin to breathe heavily.
"Okay, let's have a seat and I'll get you some water," the nurse says and guides me to a chair. I sit there frozen for a minute before she comes back with a bottle of water. I drink half of the bottle before pulling it away from my lips and taking a breath.
"Is there someone I should call to be here with you?" She asks.
"Uhm, I've got it, thanks." She nods and gives me a soft smile before leaving me alone. I dig through my purse and pull out my phone. I scroll through my contacts before landing on the right one. The phone rings and rings and my heart skips a beat when I hear the phone's been picked up.
"Ireland? Is everything okay?" Liam asks.
"Harry's been shot."
"What?!" Liam shouts from the other end of the phone.
"Harry's been shot, Liam."
"Niall!" I hear him yell. "Okay, you're on speaker, Red. Tell us everything that happened."
"We were having dinner, we had just ordered and then there were gunshots and screaming and crying and Harry went to check it out and I followed him and some guy in a ski mask had a gun pointed at Harry and Harry was pointing his at the guy and I was pointing my gun at the guy and Harry was trying to reason with him thinking he was a robber but he said he wasn't there for the money he was there for something else," I rush out trying to catch my breath.
"What was he there for? Did he say?"
"Revenge."
"For what?"
"His people," I say softly.
"His people?"
"He had a tattoo of a warrior, Liam, a knight. He was a warrior. He wants revenge for the West siders."
"Shit," Liam curses under his breath. "Okay, where are you now? I'm assuming the hospital?"
"Yes, Liberty General. Will you bring me a change of clothes?"
"Of course. We'll be there in ten. Hang tight, kiddo." The line goes dead and I sigh letting my hand fall to my lap. I wipe the tears that have streaked my makeup and look around the waiting room. I seem to be the only one besides an elderly man reading a magazine in the back corner. I look down to see my body and dress is soaked in dried blood. The emergency room doors soon open after maybe thirty and a frantic Niall and Liam enter the room.
"Ireland," Liam says softly once he takes in my appearance. Niall stands beside him holding a duffle bag and I give them each a weak smile. Liam nods at Niall and he walk over to the nurses desk and begins talking as Liam walks over to me.
