Y/N's POV
"Do we really have to walk all the way to the festival?" I asked, sitting down in the middle of the sidewalk. "No. But it's literally like not even a mile from here." Jennie replied, stopping to look at me. "A mile?! Really! Are you trying to kill me?" I
exclaimed."Or I could carry you." She offered. I looked up at her. "Why don't you carry Taehyung?" I asked. "Cause he would actually walk the mile without complaining as much!" She answered, continuing to walk. "Fair enough." I said, standing up and following after her.
We continued to walk until we left the city behind and we were basically in the middle of nowhere. All of sudden I saw a festival, and it was beautiful. Neon lights, shining everywhere. I was awestruck.
"It's beautiful." I stated. "Yeah! Lets go!" Jennie said, putting her hand out for me to grab. I did and we ran towards the festival.
We bought some tickets to be able to get on the rides, and we decided to get on the wheel of fortune to star off.
It didn't look so big from the ground but in reality the wheel of fortune was huge when you were on it. It felt like you were on a plane. I looked down to see the people, they look tiny little ants.
I could only make one person's face out. Taehyung. Was it really him? "YOU'LL NEVER BE GOOD ENOUGH FOR JENNIE!" Taehyung yelled. I looked over at Jennie, she made no reaction as if she hadn't heard it. I let go of her hand. I shook my head and looked back down at Taehyung, he wasn't there.
'He's right' I told myself. 'I'm an idiot for coming here with Jennie. She'll just forget about me once Taehyung comes along. I'm just the substitute. She never actually loved me, that's why she left me' I thought.
Jennie looked over at me. "Are you okay, Y/N? You look a little pale." Jennie exclaimed. "I'm fine. But I'll be better once we get off of this thing." I told her. "Are you scared?" She asked. "No, I just want to get off. I don't like being by y-." I stopped myself. "You don't like being by me? Ha. I guess you're not the old Y/N after all." Jennie said, she sounded hurt.
"No it's not that. I didn't mean it that way.." I explained. "Then how did you mean it?" She scoffed. "You never loved me did you?" I asked, abruptly. "What?" She looked up at me confused. "That's why you ditched me the second you got a chance."
"Y/N—." She started.
Preview of next chapter- (Jennie's POV) "He caught up to me. "Fine I'll give it to Jihyo then." Y/N said. I didn't say anything, he can do whatever he wants. "She'll look so pretty holding it. The dark red color will complement her eye color-." He started to say. I snatched the rose from his hand. "Fine, I'll take it. But only because you spent $20 on it." I replied. He smiled."
