Chapter 19- "long bus ride"

Y/N's POV
I had packed all my bags last night, so when morning came I quickly got dressed and rushed to school.

I walked into my homeroom, and caught a glance of Jennie at her desk. I also searched the room for Taehyung and just as he had said, he wasn't there.

Without that to worry me I sat down calmly, with my bags in my hands. "Hello, class! I see you must be excited for the trip." She exclaimed. "Yes." We all replied in agreement.

"Well, before we leave I would just like to announce the new addition to our class, Park Jihyo." She announced. Jihyo came into the room glancing at me and Jennie. I turned to look at Jennie, and she looked annoyed.

Remember how Namjoon, my seat mate, had gone to Disney Land. Well with the only empty seat next to me, Jihyo came over and sat there. I saw Jennie clench her fist, out of the corner of my eye.

"Okay, I think we're ready to go." said the teacher. We all stood up and walked out of the building, there was a huge coach bus there. Everyone started pushing us to get on, and somehow me and Jihyo ended up at the back of the line with Jennie.

Jennie pulled me aside. "Why is Jihyo here?" She asked, in an annoyed tone. "About that, she sort of told me but I forgot to tell you." I chuckled nervously. She suddenly looked up at me. "What!?! You knew!?! Oh so you want her on this trip, okay, then I'll sit by Jisoo, you go sit by your little girlfriend." She stated rolling her eyes, as she stomped away. "She's not my girlfriend.." I mumbled.

I returned to my spot at the end of the line with Jihyo. "Why'd you switch schools?" I asked. "Because, I was getting bullied and I sort of had no friends." She replied. "Those idiots who bullied you. They don't know a nice, super pretty, and smart girl when they see one." I told her.

"Thanks, Y/N. You're a good friend." She replied. "Just doing my duty." I chuckled. Jihyo rolled her eyes, but smiled.

Finally we were on the bus and I sat next to Jihyo, I noticed Jennie sitting with Jisoo in the seats across the aisle from us.

JENNIE's POV
I heard Jihyo and Y/N laughing and giggling, and who knows what. "Jisoo, say something funny." I told her. "Um.." she started. I laughed loudly, but it seemed fake. "Jennie, are you okay?" Jisoo asked. "No, are you okay? You always insult me and you never care how much that affects me. I might laugh it off in that second, but after a while it's not funny. It hurts." I told her, in a harsh tone.

Jisoo looked at my her eyes wide. "Guys, Y/N broke Jennie." She told Lisa and Rosè who were sitting behind us. "No, you broke me." I told her.

I was about to walk away, but we were on a bus and they had told us we couldn't stand up so that's fun. I turned around in my seat. Then I saw Y/N and Jihyo sitting there laughing. I turned forward and stared at the back of the seat in front of me.

'This was going to be a long bus ride.' I sighed.
