JENNIE's POV
"I mean.." He started and I started to get nervous that he wouldn't want to. "I'd love to."

I smiled, "well, I know we can't move in now because we're 16 and all but we should have a party to celebrate."

He nodded, giving me a smile.

AN HOUR LATER (AUTHOR's POV)
Jennie wandered off in the mall while her mom was buying supplies for the party, Y/N followed after her but she had to get rid of him. He'd ruin the surprise.
Little did she know that he was trying to do the same thing.

"How can I get rid of her without raising any suspicion?" He thought to himself, sounding like a murderer.

"I'm going to the bathroom." Jennie lied.

"Oh, I'll go look around. Call me when you come out." She just nodded, as they both sighed in relief that their plans had worked.

After a couple minutes Jennie came out of the bathroom, making sure Y/N wasn't around. She ran to the store where she had seen the present she wanted for Y/N.

While at the other end of the mall Y/N was struggling to figure out what necklace to get her.

"Do you need any help, sir?" A woman wearing a fancy black uniform came up to him.

"Yeah, I don't know which necklace to get my girlfriend."

"Well, I'm sure any would look lovely on her. But a popular one is this one." She went on the other side of the counter taking out the prettiest necklace he had ever seen, without looking at the price tag he told her he'd get it.

Y/N could easily hide his present because it was small, but Jennie's present for him wasn't as easy to handle as she expected.

She started dialing Y/N's number.

"Hey, I have to go. Something came up. I'll meet you at my house in a couple hours to set up the party.. okay?"

"Okay, sure. Stay safe. Bye." Kind of disappointed that she had left, he tried to find Jennie's Mom to help her pick some things for the party and to show her his present for her daughter.

...

They slowly put up the streamers and blew up the balloons. Almost everything was ready and it was almost time for the party but Jennie was nowhere to be found. Y/N started to get worried but tried to convince her mom that she was fine and that she was probably just delayed.

"She said she'd be back to help decorate but the party's about to start and she's still not here."

JENNIE's POV
I have to find a way to hide this dog, if he barks or wags his tail Y/N will find out and the surprise will be ruined, so I'll just wait outside until the party. It's not that hard right?

I sat down on the grass a couple blocks away from my house, I had taken a taxi here, because I can't go onto the bus with animals.

I looked down at the dog, who was looking up at me with cute puppy eyes.

"Do you want to walk around?" I asked the dog as if he'd reply, he wagged his tail and I picked him up starting a small walk. I was sure not to go too far because it was already getting dark and by the time I had finished my walk with the puppy, it was completely dark outside.

"I think it's time to head in, don't you think?" I asked the puppy in a high pitched voice.

Suddenly my phone rang, sending shivers up my spine. I tried to calm myself down, I had only gotten scared because of the sudden noise.

I looked down at the caller and it was an unknown number. I picked up.

"Hello?"

"Jennie." I recognized his voice instantly.

"What do you want?" I rolled my eyes.

"I wanted to apologize.." Taehyung spoke.

"Apologize?" I laughed indignantly. "Let me see, I don't think you get to be forgiven after almost killing Y/N like 7 times and kidnapping me."

His voice lowered into a whisper, I could tell he was crying. "I'm sorry."

At first I felt kind of bad for him but remembering everything he's done made my blood boil yet made me terrified at the same time, he deserved to be rotting in jail. "Listen to me Taehyung. Sorry isn't an answer, you can't fix everything with a single word." At this point tears were falling down my face too.

"You're such a hypocrite." I heard him mumble between sniffles.

"What?"

"I SAID YOU'RE SUCH A HYPOCRITE." He yelled into the phone, his voice filled with rage. My body started shaking. "You can't forgive me but went around bribing everyone at school to forgive you for all the crap you did to them."

My heart was racing. "Don't you dare compare what I did to what you did. You're a psychopath. Get that through your head." I hung up, having to sit down again to take a moment to calm down.

Seeing tears stream down my face, the puppy struggled to climb up my leg in order to lick my face.

I laughed in between tears, slowly petting him until I fully calmed down.

"Come on, let's go have some fun."

I walked into the house, lots of people were already there, my friends waved at me and I smiled.

Y/N was sitting on the couch, frowning until he saw me, his smile grew wider when he saw what I was holding.

"Surprise." I winked at him, holding out the small dog.

"He's adorable!" He grabbed the puppy, holding it like a baby. Y/N laughed, "He's our son."

I shook my head, laughing as he got to know the small dog.

The conversation with Taehyung was still in my mind but I tried my best to just enjoy the moment without worrying about it.

Y/N looked up at me, knowing I was worried. He stood up. "Thank you." He gave me a kiss, and there were "Ou's" from everyone in the room.
