Y/N's POV
I looked up at Jennie and for the first time today I noticed a big wound on her cheek."What happened?!" I asked, reaching my hand out.
She covered it with her hand. "Nothing."
The detective could tell I would continue to push so he stood up and called for Jennie.
"Jennie, I think it's time to take you down to the police station for your testimony." He told her, picking up his coat.
She looked up at him sadly. "Can't I stay?"
"Well, if you want Taehyung to get what he deserves then no, you have to go."
Jennie looked down at me. I nodded, assuring her that I'd be fine and that she should go.
JENNIE's POV
We went in the detective's car, getting to the police station in a couple of minutes. They took me into a room, where I told them everything, from when I first met Taehyung all the way to how he had kidnapped me. Throughout this process the detective was just nodding.
After I had finished the detective finally spoke. "Good job. See, I knew Y/N was innocent.. and thanks to you now we can let Taehyung rot in jail."
I nodded, although I didn't think that was what I wanted. Yeah, he had been horrible to me but we also had good memories.. and it was sad to know that he'd most likely be in jail for half of his life.
I shook those thoughts away, as the detective spoke once again. "I know this probably sounds like a dumb question but would you like to go see him?"
At first I was about to decline but something told me I should but I didn't know why. I nodded, and he took me a room where there is a clear glass separating the people from outside and the people on the inside, the only way to talk to them was through a little red phone that was on the left side.
I scanned the other side of the room and saw Taehyung but just when I was going to approach where he was sitting, I saw that that spot was taken by an older girl. She seemed to be 18 or 19, and was crying as she talked to Taehyung.
"Baby, how'd you end up here?" She cried, trying to calm herself down before picking up the phone again.
"Are you done?! Stop crying for Pete's sake and get me out of here." Taehyung spoke harshly, disregarding the girl's tears.
She just nodded, starting to walk away, until she saw me. She wiped her tears away, and gave me a cold look.
"You're the reason he's here, aren't you?!" She looked at me with hatred in her eyes.
"No. Unless I forced him to kidnap me then he's not here because of my fault, it was his choice." I spat, the detective behind me trying to hold back a chuckle.
"I don't care what you say! This is all your fault." She walked past me, bumping into my shoulder with her's as she walked by.
I walked up to where Taehyung was sitting, and at this point he didn't even bother looking up, he just picked up the phone.
"Do you like it here?" I asked.
"What do you think?"
"Well I hope you do, and I hope you make lots of friends so you can spend all the years you'll be stuck here excitedly." I told him sarcastically, adding emphasis to the word "all".
He let out a chuckle. "This is what you wanted right?" He looked up at me, his glare was colder than anything. "See me rot in jail while you go on with your little boyfriend, having the time of your lives."
He was still glaring at me and I looked right back at him, as I whispered into the phone, giving him a small wink. "Pretty much."
He scowled, rolling his eyes. I stood up to leave but right before I did I turned around and told him one last thing.
"Just know, that you disgust me."
