Chapter 37- "hospital"

JENNIE's POV
I stopped breathing for a second, my hands started shaking uncontrollably and I felt like I was going to faint.

"Y/N!" I screamed, running over to him he was on the floor, he looked up at me.

"I love you." He let out with the little energy he had left, his words came out weakly.

"I love you, too. Y/N. But if you love me please don't go, please don't close your eyes, please just stay." I told him my voice quivering, tears streaming down my face.

A couple minutes went by and finally an ambulance arrived and they rushed him to the hospital, my mom and I went in the ambulance with Y/N while the other man and my dad went separately.

After arriving at the hospital they rushed Y/N into the emergency room and my mom and I stayed in the waiting room.

I was still sobbing, my mom hugging me and rubbing my head, giving my kisses on my forehead every few minutes. My dad arrived with that strange man from before, the same man that had shot Y/N.

I stood up, standing in from of the man, my eyes red from crying.

"Why'd you do it?" I asked my voice shaking, looking at him in the eye.

He looked at the floor, without a response.

"I'M TALKING TO TO YOU! WHY'D YOU DO IT FOR PETE SAKE?!" I yelled. My mom came over and held me back as I threw punches into the air trying to hit him.

"Honey, it's not what you think. You don't understand." My mom told me gently, still holding me back.

"What am I supposed to understand? This man cane in and shot Y/N with no explanation and is that not what happened?" I ran outside, pushing the man as I went by. My eyes burned, but I ignored it.

"Jennie!" My dad called out, but my mom shook her head. "Let her calm down, she'll come back when she's ready."

After a couple minutes I figured the only person that could explain what happened was the man himself so I summoned all the courage I had left and walked back in.

"So then, what happened?" I asked, sitting down next to the man. He explained, everything from Y/N going to jail because of my parents and how he escaped. I listened intently, until he finally he stopped.

I nodded. "I'm sorry, I didn't know. Thanks for helping them find me." I replied slowly.

Suddenly the doctor walked in and called out Y/N's name, I ran to him.

"Are you Y/N's family member or guardian?"

"I'm his girlfriend." I said, which even surprised me, I hadn't realized we were actually dating yet.

"Well, he's okay now. We had some complications during the procedure but he'll be fine in one or two days. You guys can go see him now, he was put in the same room as his mom."

We all looked for the room, I was speed-walking, I went inside and saw Y/N laying there looking up at a TV, an older woman in another hospital bed was beside him a couple feet down. She had a serious facial expression, and didn't even look in Y/N's way.

I walked over to Y/N's bed while the detective went to talk to the older woman, my parents followed after me standing at the door of his bed. I stood beside him.

"You idiot you gave me a heart attack, don't do that again. Okay?" I scolded him, he nodded looking up at me with a cute smile on his face.

I hugged him carelessly, causing him to wince at the pain, I had accidentally touched his wound. "Oww." He held his side, looking up at me. I hadn't gotten completely off of him, and I was still leaning over him. He looked up at me, stealing a small peck from my lips.

My dad cleared his throat causing me to jump back to my original position.

I overheard the conversation between the detective and the older woman.

"Don't worry, ma'am. You're son is innocent, you can rest assured of that." The detective explained.

Y/N turned to look at his mom and she just smiled at him, mouthing a "I'm sorry" to him.

His brother walked in the room, surprised to see we were all there. He noticed Y/N and rushed over.

"What happened to you?!?" He asked, inspecting his brother.

"Nothing too serious, but how's Mom's health? Did the doctor say anything after I left?"

"Yeah, anger is one of the triggers so when she got really upset she got worse."

"Will she be okay?"

I looked down at Y/N, his mom was everything to him and if something were to happen to her because of the sadness she felt, he'd blame it on himself and he'd never forgive himself.

Will Y/N's mom be okay? Will Y/N get sent back to jail? Han-Seok escapes, will he try to hurt Y/N? Continue reading to find out..
