'It's been six hours since i removed them from the M-D solution. They are clumsy and confused, fearful. As expected, little experience in non-suspension has lead to a difficult adjustment period, particularly regarding ambulatory motion. It will come in time, i'm sure.' Gaster typed, his fingers flying over the keys of his computer. 'They are currently seperated as the nature of their interest in each other is unclear at this point. I will investigate this more clearly at a later date after they've mastered movement. They do not appear to understand me or be capable of speech - they may not be truly sentient. It will be easier if they are not. It does not matter either way. The line was crossed long ago. there is no turning back now.' he finished before a terrified scream split the silence, almost making Gaster jump out of his bones. "What the-" he asked himself, staring down the corridor the scream had come from. Snapping his fingers he walked down the corridor, a Gaster Blaster following obediently behind him. "What's going on? What's all this screaming?" he asked, walking to the room where all the screaming was originating from to find a terrified 🕈︎♎︎♑︎📫︎📄︎◻︎ staring at their arm which was lying in the middle of the room. "Oh for god's sake." he sighed, flicking his hand, causing the Gaster Blaster to disperse in midair before placing his hand on the scanning pad next to the lasers, deactivating them and allowing his to enter. "Limb detachment for a skeleton is completely normal and entirely painless, there is absolutely no call for carrying on like this." Gaster said, bending down and picking up the detached arm from the floor. "And you can't even understand me anyway, so why am I even bothering talking to you?" he added to himself quietly. "I need to bring the arm close enough to reattach it, stay still-" Gaster said, reaching out for the skeletons arm but grabbing nothing but thin air as 🕈︎♎︎♑︎📫︎📄︎◻︎ edged further away. "I'm not in the mood for this- stay still!" Gaster exclaimed, getting more and more agitated until he finally snapped. "STAY STILL!" he roared, using his magic to grab the skeletons soul and slam him against the wall. Calming down a bit he walked over to 🕈︎♎︎♑︎📫︎📄︎◻︎ and held up the arm to the joint. "Once close enough and with proper will..." he said, moving the arm closer. "The arm attaches." he continued as the arm popped back into place, making the smaller skeleton's eyes widen in surprise. "There." Gaster said, placing his hands on his hips. "No pain, no fuss. Completely unremarkable and entirely undeserving of such attention seeking behavior." he said before sighing. "What a waste of my time. At least the other one's been quiet so far." he said, placing a hand on his head. Smiling kindly, 🕈︎♎︎♑︎📫︎📄︎◻︎ reached out to Gaster for a hug but pulling back quickly he grabbed 🕈︎♎︎♑︎📫︎📄︎◻︎ hands and placed them down by their sides before turning and walking out of the room, reactivating the lasers as he did so.
Sighing Gaster sat back down at his desk, placing his head in his hands. 'The taller one is needier than i'd like.' he thought to himself. '...I need to take steps to prevent to stop attachment.'
