"He likes me?"  Phil said from the other end of the phone.

Dan looked over to his friend, who looked up at him with those green eyes and a wild smile, he raised a thumbs up. "Yeah, he likes you."

"So I passed the test? Woohoo!" Dan could hear him faintly yelling in the background like a child who was excited over something their mom said they would buy in the grocery store. Daniel collapsed against his bed with a laugh, waiting for the older man to calm down.

"You're a child."

"You bring out the youth in me. You make me feel young again."

"GROSS!" PJ yells from across the room, Dan sits up on his elbows.

"How can you even hear what he's saying?" Dan asked, running a hand through his hair.

"We've been caught," Phil says through the phone.

"Supersonic hearing, Daniel. I know everything that goes on in these four walls." PJ smirks.

"Whatever." Dan rolls his eyes, rolling over on his side, back to the boy.

"Can he actually hear us?"

"No, he's just being a TWAT!" Dan yells loud enough for PJ to hear.

"Rude!"

"So can you come over tomorrow?" Phil asks.

"Yeah, what time? If I wake up early, I can be back here for my afternoon class."

"You have class on a Saturday? God, I hated college."

"Yeah, sucks ass but with your super sweet car I can get here just in time."

"You're using me for a ride?"

"If you'll let me?" Dan squeaks, a stupid school girl smile on his lips.

"You know I will."

"Thank you."

"I'll pick you up too, okay?"

"Okay. What time?"

"10, sharp. Be ready, Howell."

"I always am, Lester."

It was 10:01 and Phil was pulling into the parking lot, he was late. Dan smiled as he climbed into he expensive car, he always got questions during lectures from kids who saw him and the famous Mr. Lester. He couldn't say anything yet, he just said they were friends.

"You're late," Dan smiled, poking Phil on the nose before he switched gears and sped out of the campus parking lot.

"Sorry, hon, I forgot that my teleportation device is broken." Phil shrugs mockingly.

"You should really get that fixed." Dan smiles as he looks out the window, he can feel Phil's on him as he watches the road and the other cars.

"I know. Only the best for you." Phil places his hand on Daniel's knee as he drives, looking back at the road. They pull into the long gated driveway and Dan is always amazed at how beautiful the home is.

"Is Ant here? I feel like I haven't seen him in forever."

"No, he's at his grandma's, with Haillie. She wanted to see him. Our lawyers had us agree on the weekends that he would visit her."

"So you won custody?" Dan exclaimed, nearly jumping out of his seat as Phil parked the car.

"Yeah? I didn't tell you!?" He gets out of his side and Dan runs over to him for a hug.

"No, you spork!" He hits Phil's chest playfully, Phil grabbing his wrists. "I'm so fucking proud of you." He whispers between the pair. Phil is leaning in and the air thickens and Dan's heart speeds just as fast as Phil's fancy sports car and he swears he's never felt this way for anyone ever before.

"Language, darling," Phil murmurs before he connects their lips, letting Dan's hands go. They immediately wrap around Phil's neck, pulling the older man's body against his own. Phil grabs Daniel by the bottom and picks him up, the younger squeaking as he's lowered on the hood of Phil's car.

They make out lazily as the sun clouds over, Dan laying on Phil's slick back car as the older sucks a hickey onto his neck. He feels so exposed but he knows no one can see them, the bushes are too tall for the neighbors to see.

"Fuck, I missed this," Dan says, bringing Phil's face up to his own so he can kiss him on the lips again.

"I miss you so much, it hurts being away from you and I swear I haven't felt this way since forever."

"I've never felt this way." The younger boy admits.

"Well, come on inside. It looks like it's supposed to rain soon." Phil pulls off Dan's body before helping him off the car. They held hands until they got inside, then Phil headed upstairs, Phil following him around the house he became so accustomed to.

"I wanted to ask you something," Phil says, turning into his office. He sits in his big leather chair and he looks out of place in his plain t-shirt and jeans. His voice is suddenly serious like a boss but Dan can see the humor behind his eyes so Daniel goes along with it, straightening his back and sitting down in the seat in front of the big mahogany desk.

"Yes, of course."

"I was wondering if you would like to move in, all platonically of course," he spins in his chair, laughing as his back is to his lover. He throws his hands in the air. "Business partners."

"All business in the front?" Dan giggles.

"Totally."

"Party in the back?"

"I'm not a mullet." He frowns at the brunet.

"No of course. But if I were to accept this offer, what would I get in return?" He leans his elbows on the desk, head rested in his hands.

"A kiss?" Phil pleads.

Dan shakes his head.

"A pat on the head?" Phil leans in.

"No." They're gradually getting closer and closer and Daniel might explode from laughter.

"A back rub?"

"Nope."

"Obtuse, rubber goose, green moose, guava juice, giant snake, birthday cake, large fries, chocolate shake?"

"You know it." And then Dan kisses him dead on the lips and they both burst out laughing.
