"He was gonna end up with someone again eventually"

He turns to me with a confused expression, making me laugh and sit straighter

"Oh come on, you guys would be cute together!" I exclaim, watching he scoffs "wherever you say"

A comfortable silence washed over us as the sounds of birds chirping and light conversation beams through Alexandria

"Heh, Rickyl" I chuckle slightly

"What?"

"Rickyl, Daryl and Rick" He rolls his eyes, making me laugh

"Maybe Dick, i like Dick" I say without thinking, Daryl looking over to me again with a surprised expression

"No! Not like that, i meant i like Dick as a duo name not the other type of dick, not that i dont like dick its just..." I take a deep breath and stop myself looking back up at Daryl whos blue eyes cloud with amusment

He stands and shifts his bag onto his shoulder "Im going on a run with Rick, be back before dinner" He says before walking down the steps

"Have fun with your dick" he says before leaving

"Thats not what i meant!" I yell

He turns and waves his hands in mockery before turning back and walking away
