Flesh tore, a bloodcurdling shriek following the scalpel which buried itself into a pale arm. Most people consider pain temporary, or even avoidable if you know how to push it down, but there's something about your muscles being slit and carved into that just isn't ignorable. The forearm belonging to a young girl burned with a fire that couldn't compare to the ones hell managed to claim. Her nerves screamed for mercy, the child's throat dry and raw. The pain rippled in convulsive waves up her body, the restraints struggling to keep the girl in place.
Though the sound was one that any sane person would rush towards, nobody came to her rescue, and they never would. The female had just become a teenager, her birthday gift being torture, apparently. Her elbow jerked upwards as the knife met bone, only causing an another anguished cry.
"Shhhh... don't cry... you're our little blue star." A motherly voice rang in her clouded ears, though the feeling of another sharp object lodging itself into her other arm was proof that their intentions were of anything but love.
"Mother, why won't she stop crying?"
"She is not worthy."

Yasu awoke choking on air, sitting up, hunched over the side of a bed she didn't know when she'd gotten into. Ragged breaths accompanied the silent tears that freely flowed down her face and onto the floor. Her body was unnaturally cold, and she couldn't forget the surreal memories, she felt the pain again. Shivers rolled down her body and her hands cautiously found their way to her arms which she could have sworn were numb.
A movement beside her set off her internal alarms. Adrenaline rushed through her veins, heart stopping for a split second. Stumbling out of the bed quickly, her arms were immediately wrapped in flowing blue energy as she turned to face the perpetrator. Cool dark eyes stared at her, the only light in the room being the moons reflection of the sun. Both the glow from her energy and the moon reflected ominously on the now looming figure. She wasn't sure where she was or who exactly was sleeping next to her, but it only added to the trembling in her arms. As the person approached, she pushed them against the wall, the energy holding said person there and tightly encasing their limbs to their body. Increasing its mass, they fell on their knees, the thud making Yasu flinch back. Her steps were uneven and unsteady, her left leg giving way as she kneeled in front of the stranger.
Her panicked eyes spotted a bloodshot pair and messy hair. She took note of their stubble and bored posture. Realization dawned on her, and panicked apologies flew out of her mouth as the energy dissipated.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't know it was you, I wouldn't- I wouldn't have done that!" Her words quickened while she backed up nervously. " I- you scared me- well- I was scared, it's not your fault- I didn't know what was going on and- and I was just kind of freaking out-" her heel hit the edge of a nightstand, the small alarm clock being it's only decoration.
