Yasu scratched the nape of her neck, scanning the hallway. The girl was still suspicious about her acceptance to U.A., believing that there was no way this place could see potential in her. Alas, she stood at the door to class 1-A, the best of the best, her round glasses sliding down her nose, along with her drooping expression. The door was so large, intimidating, what was she thinking? Maybe she could still turn around and go to a regular school. She had no place trying to be a role model for others, nobody would look up to someone as gross as her.
"So... can you go inside or at least move over?" A boy with wavy hair and a bored expression stared at her, waiting.
She hesitated, blinking before looking away and sighing. The schoolgirl flinched right before she touched the door but opened it nonetheless and stepped inside. The sound that befell her caused her lip to quirk upward in distaste, and her fists to clench subconsciously in her pockets.
"YEAH! HOW'S IT GOIN' SHOTA? ARE YOU EXCITED?" Some problematic blonde walked over, his loud voice still ringing in her ears. The seemingly impatient boy didn't seem like the type to be friends with someone so energetic, but that wasn't any of her business.
Walking over to a seat near the back, she set her things down and pulled out a book she'd began that morning. It was a lovely story, one about the beauty in the little things in life like flowers and the smell of rain after the ground has been drenched by the clouds. It reminded her that she needed to think positively about the world around her, despite the horrors it may hold. All was going well until the loud mouth bounded over, obnoxiously close to her desk.
'How bothersome...'
She sighed, putting her book down and silently staring at the embodiment of noise. "Can I help you?"
His hand shot out towards her, and per instinct, Yasu punched him in the face. A moment of complete terror passed through her body even though she laughed.
"I'm- im so sorry! Ahahahahaha! I didn't mean it - well I did that's why I hit you, but- ahahahahaha- please forgive me I'm not used to people being so sudden!" Despite almost crying of laughter, and actually finding it funny, the girl did feel bad. The kid was probably just trying to say hello! After all it was the first day of class.
Despite being socked in the face, his 'thumbs up' was still being held out proudly but a faint grimace was laced within his smile. She waited for his response, a cold feeling slowly creeping through her body. That was, until he started laughing too.
"AHAHAHAHAHAHA! Sorry! Guess I shouldn't have done that! I'm Yamada Hizashi but you seem pretty cool so you can call me Hizashi!" His hands were on his hips, eliciting a very strong presence even though it really wasn't needed.
"I... I'm uh...." She adjusted her glasses, debating on whether she even wanted to interact with the individual. "I'm... Suzukaze... nice to meet you I suppose."
