°• Thank You For Saying Hi •°
A dull throbbing pierced Yasu's head, her left leg groaned in protest to movement, but it was inevitable as she tried to sit up. Her right arm also wasn't a fan of movement but you had to do what you had to do. Looking down at herself, her eyes widened, her heart feeling like it faltered for a moment. Her bandages had been removed, only covering her fresh wounds. Her hands found their way to the call button, immediately looking out the window for a distraction.
Not even a minute later a nurse walked in, calling out her name. Snapping her head towards the sound, her lips curled into a grimace at the sharp pain that shot down her spine.
"Uh... do you have any spare bandages? It will help." Attempting to give a smile that didn't look like she was going to skin the nurse, Yasu internally sighed.
Nodding and saying that she would work it out because of her peculiar situation, the nurse brought back a roll, dismissing herself politely afterwards. Thankfully it seemed as if the only IV in her arm at the moment was overtop the bandages on her arm. Thank god that her left arm's veins always managed to hide. Beginning with her neck, she bandaged her body all the way down. It was strange but it was like a comfort blanket, for more than one reason. Satisfied with her work, yet still in a bit of pain.
The pro-hero was aware she was drugged yet not so much so that she couldn't control herself. It was just as if she was a bit drunk.
'Wonderful...'
Yasu let out a quiet scream-groan as she attempted to push her invasive thoughts out of her head.
'A bit disappointing that I woke up. Hm? How could I burden Shota like that? Letting him see me at my worst. I should've been left to die, only the strongest survive.'
Closing her eyes and leaning back into the hospital cot, she took in the silence and peace. Hopefully she would be able to make it on Saturday, if not it would only worsen her guilt. Did they even know what happened? She hoped not. Looking at the small clock that rested next to the muted TV, she noticed it was almost midday. She might as well sleep now seeing as it would be the only good rest she got for a while after she got out. With that, her conscious seemed to have been taken away from her without her willing it, her eyelids bearing heavy weights and her mind growing hazy.
The Suzukaze woke up gasping for breath, startled the the point of almost no return. During her nice peaceful sleep, something loud and wild disrupted her. She thought for a moment that it was a siren or explosion, or maybe something horrible that had come to torture her. Alas, it was only Hizashi, who was followed by Nemuri and Shota.
"I hate you all, I can't believe you came here." Rolling her eyes, Yasu shook her head. "Thank you I suppose, though Hizashi, you almost murdered me with that voice of yours. So thanks for that."
