Waking up at 9 AM isn't exactly how Yasu has envisioned her morning to start

Waking up at 9 AM isn't exactly how Yasu has envisioned her morning to start. I mean, at that point was it even really morning? After debating on whether or not she should go back to sleep until she didn't wake up or blast the headache she had with energy so concentrated it left her brains on the wall, the woman figured 'getting ready for the day' would be the most appropriate answer. Well, that was until she remembered that there was school that day.

"FUCK ME UP THE ASS WITH A CHAINSAAAAW"

The woman screeched and proceeded to throw on a new set of clothes, switching out her skirt for some pants instead. Thank god she had these made for hero work. Dealing with traumatized children... what if she had to kick one of them? God it would be awful it something happened to those pants. I mean, the messed up leg? Yeah that would heal, but the scar of destroying something that worked perfectly fine... tragic.

Taking a moment to check her surroundings, she noticed that the walking mummy was nowhere to be seen. Surely, that bastard wouldn't dare go and teach today. Ah, of course he would.

Letting out a sigh as heavy as three cargo ships, Yasu dashed out the door with her quirk— or, aggressively hovered one could say, towards UA.

Why didn't Shota wake her up? More importantly... how the hell did he get to school?

That didn't matter. Hugging her coat closer to her body to help preserve the heat she so desired, the woman made her way through campus, sitting down in the teachers lounge before checking her schedule.

"So that's why he didn't wake me up....."

She wasn't scheduled to show up today.

Deciding that there was no point in wasting a perfectly good day, Yasu (somehow) managed to make it onto a train towards the police station, messaging Damien to meet her there along the way. There never really was a "free" day in the world of heroes and the unfortunate.

The situation with Caroline was something the brunette had, in a sense, expected. The woman was too kind for her own good, and in a time of endless, abundant atrocities, it was only a matter of time before something happened to her. In fact, Yasu already knew who killed her... she just didn't have any proof. They never left any proof behind, and although it wouldn't be hard to put two and two together... courts don't take speculation as clause for imprisonment. With this in mind, she clapped Damien's shoulder, having seen him as she exited the train, and proceeded to use him as a crutch.

"Ready for a day of detective work, cousin?" She grinned, her narrowed eyes twinkling with a hidden mischief that the poor man could only pray wasn't directed at him.

"I suppose..."

It was quite the walk to say the least, especially since the sun has mercy for nobody at noon. When the duo finally stepped into the police station, Damien practically collapsed onto a nearby bench, leaving his partner to stand awkwardly in the middle of the room.
