The day U.A. was back in session was likely going to be one of the most uneventful days for a while. Yasu went to the meeting about the villain attack (sure, that's eventful but not really), she almost bulldozing through purple boy, and she floated herself an Aizawa home. Not literally, but when you can basically pick up your friend with your quirk and carry them home, you might as well say it how you like.

It was your average day, but that didn't mean that Yasu wasn't ready to hide under ten blankets and never come out again. Instead of wasting her time hobbling around, she stood on a board of energy that levitated to wherever she pleased, which considering the fact that most her energy was going towards healing herself, was a bit more draining than she'd expected, and she was freezing.

Hizashi had called to say that he would be bringing over some of Aizawa's things for the time being, since last night he had just survived off whatever force was letting him stand. So, when she heard a knock on her door, the woman assumed it would be the blonde. What she didn't expect was to see her disheveled, redhead cousin slouching in front of her doorway.

Damien's slouched posture and untucked shirt was surely a sign that he was dying inside, but his next words were what sent a chill down her spine.

"I'm sorry."

This must've been a joke. That good-for-nothing only gave half assed apologies, and for this one to sound genuine means that it has to be a prank. Irritation poked at the corners of Yasu's mouth, her heart strings being yanked by the knowledge that he was going through grief, but her resolve stronger than some measly emotions.

"Can I help you? Oh wait. I can't. Goodbye."

Before she could close the door, he stuck his foot out, pleading with her.

"Please, please Yasu! I can't live with myself anymore..." The man looked like he was on the verge of tears, and his eyes might as well been the textbook picture of bloodshot. "It was okay when she was alive. I though it was ok because you lived... but now that she's gone I have so many regrets and every chance I have... any chance I had to right my wrongs is gone."

He walked through the now open door, his cousin's heart unable to watch her family suffer and stand by.

"You have to...well, please. Please let me help you find those vile creatures. I have to prove myself worthy. If I wasn't good enough when she was here, then I have to be better for her now that she's gone."

Aizawa was probably having a blast from her room, listening to Damien practically beg Yasu to let him help, but for the sake of his dignity she didn't tell him that the bandaged man was there. The broken ginger didn't to know that Aizawa was there, though, because Hizashi busting through the door and seeing her teary cousin was enough for him to raise his walls.
