Protection

Falling in love can take so many different meanings. 
You can fall in love with a person and know they are your one and only, The person you will start a family with, get married to and well in the end die with. 
You can fall in love with a friend. Falling in love with a friend is tricky, Because you can see your future with them in your family, When your getting married and ultimately, Dying together. 
You can always have the mixture of falling in love with someone who is your best friend, Knowing that no matter what they will always be there smiling with you, supporting you and well just being there til the end. 

But falling in love. can change how we act about that person. 
For example. You have someone you love, hold close to you. Then one day, They get hurt. What would you do?
I for one would fight for them, die for them and then hold them.

But what if it's not just something you can fight that's hurting them?
You can't fight it. you cant kill it. You cant even try to die for it. 
All you can do. Is hold them. 

I guess you can sit and hold them, Try to talk to them about it and try to console them about it for as much as you your self can manage. 
You can picture this thing that is hurting them as a dragon you must slay or that one bitch you wanna bitch slap so hard. but it wont work. 
Or so you thought. 

Being there for them may be the push they need to see that not everything is bad, Maybe me fighting that horrible smokey dragon in my imagination for them might make them see that It can be okay. 
Holding their hand even though they aren't there to hold, Could be just the thing I can do. 

I can still let them know I will fight for them, Die for them but letting them know. 
I will still sit there and hold you for a while. 
I will still protect you even if its from small things. 
I will still love you.
You will always have protection.
