“Ten seconds until midnight and the start of a new year!” Numbers circulated in the atmosphere above as people were desperately fighting around to find that one person they wished to share their New Year’s Eve kiss with. I was oblivious to my surroundings. I could not believe this was happening! Julian was looking for me, tonight. Holy shit! My entire body was numb with anticipation; this was it, what I’d been hoping and praying for all night long.
“FIVE!” My hands were trembling in an attempt to hold onto his phone.
“FOUR!” No more Tim, no more heart ache, just a fresh start.
“THREE!” All I had to do was reply to Julian, and everything else would fall into place.
“TWO!” He was nice, spontaneous, and super cute.
“ONE!” My New Year’s resolution? Get Julian!
“HAPPY NEW YEAR!” Screams erupted into the sky above, lovers embraced and fireworks ignited the night. (*SONG IN SIDEBAR*)
-Happy New Year’s Eve, I wanted to say it in person, but time got the better of us. Please come and reassure me that I’m not making a complete fool out of myself. X
Was this really truly what I wanted? Another possible relationship with the chance of more heart breaks along the way? Who was I kidding; I barely even knew the guy, and I was about to go running off to spend a night with him? He could be a serial killer for all I knew! What separated him from any other guy I’d ever met anyway? Argh maybe just that my whole body ached from the instant passion I felt for him. ‘BUZZ’–
