The Hitman's Daughter | Chapter 19

Tyler's POV

I quickly turn around and see someone who I least expected. She wore an all black outfit with different kinds of weapons wrapped around her. Her hair is messily tied up and she help to rifles on both or her hands with a smirk

"Miss me?" she walks up to us and I stare at her, still not taking in all of this

But, how? She was kidnapped, they beat her up. But now that I notice it, her face barely have any bruises. Did she play us? No, she's forced to do this. She can't be the leader, they're just tricking us again

We all stare at her in shock, obviously not knowing that this was all a joke. We were played and it's hard to take in. I'm speechless, Jimmy is close to breaking down, Henry is confused, but Chris is fuming with anger

"You bitch!" Chris starts walking toward her but she points the gun at him and she seemed like she didn't care if we died

"You better stop right there if you don't want a bullet run through you" she threatens and Chris looked so shocked about how she changed from a defenceless and sweet girl into this fearless and strong girl

"But we trusted you!" Jimmy seemed close to crying and I can't help but feel the same way

"You trusted a random chick that your leader slept with, are you that naive?" she scoffs at him and I feel my heart fall and shatter. I fear that if I tried to pick it up I would be more wounded and it killed me

This is not the Hailey I once knew

She starts walking towards our direction. It's like she had a force on us because we took our steps backward and let them stand up side by side. "Hey, Alpha" Jason slings his shoulder around her shoulders and smirk

"Oh, wait. Sorry my bad. Tyler this is Alpha, our leader" Jason mocks me but I don't have the will to fight, I felt weak seeing her now

"Pleased to meet--"

"Oh, you're going down you bitch!" Chris runs up to her and she smiles and shrugs. Placing the gun down and ran up to him too

I watched her as she fights Chris swiftly, she seemed so professional. When she tackled Chris to the ground, she looked at me with a wink and I don't know how to feel. I know I should be angry because she betrayed me but I feel pain. I love her but she killed me inside

The next thing I knew an enemy punches me on the face and I wake back up to reality. I face Jason as we both beat each other up. But I can't get my head straight, I feel like I'm all lost. "What's wrong? You got a little heartbreak?" I try punching him hard but he dodges it and he punches my back making me fall on my knees

I expected him to hurt me more but Jimmy jumped at him and saved me. I nod at him and he nods too. "You're going down" I answer when I finally redeemed my strength

I keep on punching him to the point that he doesn't have a chance to fight back anymore. All the pain I'm feeling, I am letting it go at this moment. Blow after blow blood drips down from his wounded lip. She wanted this to happen, I can keep on trying to convince myself that the Hailey I know is still in there but watching her like this, right now. She played me.

I'm nothing but a joke to her, she didn't take thing seriously. She's one great actress, being able to fool us to the point that I am hurting.

I hear Hailey shout and I look at her being knocked down and I can't help but feel like I should go over and hug her right now, tell her that there is no use in fighting. But she played me and I want to hate her, I really do. I just can't

Being distracted, Jason had the chance to punch me making me fall on the ground. Hailey pounced at Chris and he falls to the ground. Our team was losing, all of us on the ground bleeding. Stunned by how they just beat us

"Oh, boys. Don't feel sad, you were about the die anyways" I flinch at her words, she just said that we are about to die like it was nothing

"Go go go!" I look over as our back up emerges from the background and Hailey looks at them in shock

She quickly slides over to the guns that she dropped earlier and shot enough person until she had empty ammo. Everyone fought fist with fist, they were outnumbered but I still feel like we are losing

I stand up slowly and by where I am standing, I come face to face with Hailey
