Y/n pov

You find a note on your bed.

Meet me in my office, we need to discuss what happened this summer.

- Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore

You sigh and leave without a word. You walk the halls until you get to Dumbledore's office, you finally get the door and knock.

"Enter." You take a deep breath and listen to your headmaster.

You look around and see Hagrid, Snape, McGonagall and Professor Lupin all in the room.

"Y/n about what happened this summer..."

"I understand no taking about Azkaban because it may get around about my bloodline and I could be put in great danger I know quite well. I've been saying I was at my Sister's back in y/c." You say attempting to hold in your anger.

"Okay... Did you want to ask me anything... perhaps even tell me off. You'll be allowed too, no repercussions." Dumbledore said noticing you biting your tongue.

"Actually yes." You tell him. You clench your fists and take a deep breath.

"You told me a month it was two. One of which spent in the same cell as Sirius Black a murder now on the loose, and now there are dementors the things that I fear, the things I see every time i close my eyes or sleep are now staying at my home. Professor excuse me if I'm not overly content with the situation." You hissed at him failing to notice the sounds of cracking glass. Snape, Lupin and Dumbledore did however notice a glass behind you was cracking the madder you got.

"I think I deserve in the least an explanation! I was thrown in Azkaban left to be tormented with no word form anyone here." You felt tears well up in your eyes the more you remembered. You felt a harsh cold wind plow through the entire room. You ignored it and focused on not crying to breaking down.

"... Y/n... Sirius's escape caused us to push you getting out further back." You nodded and waited for more.

"And I know working with the dementors around will be hard... We'll make sure you never go out with them alone." Dumbledore said making you jerk your head up.

"No." You say quickly.

"No?" Dumbledore said raising an eyebrow. You shook your head.

"Agreeing to that would mean, I'd leave Peter alone on Full moons. I didn't go through all that Animagus training for nothing and... if you think I'd ever do that to him just because of some dementors then... well... I'd never leave him behind now more than ever." You revealed to them; you knew Lupin had no clue but you didn't care what he found out.

"We... might be able to teach her to protect herself." Professor Lupin chimed in making you smile at him, much to Snape's distaste.

"Would you be willing?" Dumbledore asked the DADA teacher.

"If she'd have me teach her then gladly." You looked at him with an uncontrollable grin.

"I trust professor Lupin to teach me." You perked up.

"Then, he'll talk to you after your classes and set up times for you to learn." Dumbledore decried. You smiled and nodded.
