You walked off the train station telling the twins you'd owl them over the summer.

You quickly run off into your mothers' arms. You felt her hold you tight.

"I missed you mom." You said looking up at her as she let you go and lead you towards the car, you had to own one for muggle events or going out.

"I'm so happy I finally got to see you." Your mother said clearly holding back emotions.

"Why didn't you show up on Christmas?" You ask as you loaded everything in the trunk except your owl which you had placed in the backseat of the car.

"Well, you see, fudge loves me so he gave me a opportunity to help plan something big that will go down next year, only problem was that with Barty watching my post so heavily after everything that they found out with your father... well he said my job or you. I knew I'd see you again soon and made sure your sister was clear to see you... without my job I'm not sure what I'd do..." Your mother knew she'd see you again and you knew how much she loved her job.

"I understand. You love your job." You told her. You knew her job was important.

"Thank you... sweetie." She said holding your hand lightly.

"But I'm afraid when we got word that you were attacked by a werewolf and Sirius Black, I worried me sending you off for your second year would've been the last time I saw you face to face. You had me scared." Your mother said holding your hand tighter as she drove.

"I'm sorry mum. But I'm okay... and I'm home now." Your promised easing her mind.

"Yes, you are. And Kathy has been talking about it for days, she can't stop saying how much she wanted to hug you and take you out for dinners she even brought up the Quidditch world cup." Your mom told you.

"But mom you're all magical event coverage, right? You should be going?" You asked making your mom sigh heavily.

"Maybe... I fear I may not be welcome as Barty is still finding our family suspicious... unfortunately you most of all..." You sighed.

"He can't blame us for Voldem-" You growled.

"do not utter his name!"  Your mother yelled at you. You nodded remembering you were supposed to fear it.

"Sorry... you-know-who's actions were not ours." You said your mother nodded grimly.

"I think he may be a bit lost these days, maybe mad considering I was there the night he had t put his son away, and somehow I and my daughters were safe while having the dark lords blood run through them, I think he's taking out some self anger out on you." You said.

"Crouch Jr. Right?" You ask your mom stutters before closing her mouth and nodding.

"I can't imagine what is was like, he was young and died in Azkaban."

"Are you okay?" Your mother asks.

"Yes." You reassured her.

"I know it must've been traumatic your father and I fought to get you out, but given you were accused of opening the chamber ... well you were the only one imprisoned, Barty would like it to stay that way... that's why I don't trust him being so near to you next year." You looked at her confused.

"What are you talking about mum?" You ask.

"Oh.... Nothing." She said sealing her lips.

"That's awful." You commented.

"what is?"

"Not telling me." You said pouting in your seat.

"Don't mind it dear. We're home anyways." Your mom pointed out as she pulled into the driveways.
