Chapter forty one - Lupin Leaves and Your Revenge

You kept running forward and managed to trip up on the stairs for sure giving yourself a concussion but you quickly stood up again and ran, you felt light blood trickle down your head and had to kept running you hear Dumbledore say he'll lock you all in you see Dumbledore leave and Hermione rushed up to him.

"We did it, Sirius is free, Buckbeak And Faris are saved." Harry exclaimed a tad bit out of breath.

"I have no idea what you're talking about... but I will lock you in." Dumbledore said with a wink. He opened the door and looked at you.

"Cover your forehead with your hair for now." Dumbledore told you.

You nodded and the professor and he locked the door. You messed up your hair and quickly got into bed before anyone could see you out of it.

Needless to say madam Pomfrey was shoving cholate at you and Harry which you both excepted even more with your more recent dementor attack you were too exhausted to do much event he chase had left you so tired, you just wiped the blood off your head with the back of your hand knowing the pain would go away soon and it'd heal easily, because of the potions you took easier.

You couldn't help but smirk as there was a distant yell of fury, but you only stayed awake long enough to see Snape red in the face, Dumbledore with a knowing smile and fudge looking mildly concerned. Before you fell asleep gracefully.

In the darkness something appeared an office, the headmaster's office, you saw Dumbledore walk into view and an angered battered Lupin Infront of his desk you watched as Dumbledore stood a few feet from the man recovering from the full moon, blood sti stained his fingertips and he was tired as all hell.

"You told me not to peruse it! You told me he was guilty!" Lupin yelled looking more broken than you've ever seen him, he was so mad he was shaking with anger. Dumbledore immediately knew what he was talking about and so did you.

"I did not know." Dumbledore answers solemnly. "No more than you Remus."

"I – DID – KNOW! I TOLD YOU! I TOLD YOU HE WAS INNOCENT AND YOU TOLD ME TO LET IT GO! YOU SAID HE WAS GUILTY! IT WAS TWELVE YEARS - I – he... FOR TWELVE YEARS HE ROTTED IN THAT CELL! TWELVE YEARS AND YOU DID NOTHING! You- You..." Lupin takes a shaky breath in and collects himself stops shaking with rage.

"I quit..." Lupin said before leaving without another word. You tried to stop him you tried calling out but it was no use he didn't hear you.

"I'm sorry Remus." Dumbledore muttered knowing what he had done was wrong, but there was no evidence that Sirius was innocent.

You were torn on what to do and just sat down in thought of what Remus and Sirius had to have gone through.

You went out the next day with Harry, Hermione and Ron wandering about one dumb dream behind you. You all met up with Hagrid and discussed Buckbeak and Faris's miraculous escape and everything until Hagrid told us that Snape may've let it slip at Breakfast that Lupin was a werewolf in his Rant about Black, he was packing to leave.

"Why I'll kill him for that." You stated and off you ran Harry not far behind.

"I knew I'd see you two..." Lupin said pointing to the marauders map as Harry and you ran into his classroom to find him packing.

His face was bruised and he looked quite ruffled up. You felt sympathetic for the man. You may've had a soft spot for werewolves.

"I heard you resigned tell me it's not true?" Harry asked.
