Y/n pov

Weeks were passing and everyone was talking about Harry getting a firebolt. It spread quickly throughout the school and Draco couldn't believe his ears but you felt he was up to something. You went to classes making top of your potions class, you hated Divination still but your grades were good enough.

Today was the day of Gryffindor vs Ravenclaw but you didn't feel like going. You saw many people march out of the school that day. You sat in a windowsill you didn't really notice anyone until a certain Hufflepuff came up to you.

"Ced?" You ask just noticing him as he sat across from you. You wondered how long he'd been there for.

"Hey Y/n." He smiled noticing your down expression.

"Aren't you going to the game?" You ask him.

"I should as a Capitan, shouldn't I?" He sated and asked but you could tell by his tone he wasn't going to up and leave.

"So why aren't you?" You ask him.

"Well I saw you looking down and thought I'd say hey." You smile he's really thoughtful.

"Hehe, always the gentleman." You laugh emptily.

"You want to wonder around outside?" He asked it was a clear and calm day so it would be nice to go for a walk.

"But the quidditch game?" You asked.

"I'll have so much time to catch up." You sigh at Cedric's words and began to walk outside taking the side bridge.

"Wait a minute isn't that girl you mentioned before the seeker?" You say remembering hearing about that.

"What?" Cedric asks going pink.

"Cho... Something?" You say. Remembering him mention a girl he found pretty happened to be the Ravenclaw seeker.

"It doesn't matter." Ced says switching topics. "What does is the fact you've been distant. Peter said how strict you were last full moon, somethings bothering you?" He said making you sigh.

"Heh Ced I'm the niece of a monster, how am I supposed to be okay knowing that this blood is inside me forever? When this gets out because it's been proven you can't bury things forever, so it will get out I'll be public enemy number one. How can I deal with being looked at like a traitor and monster?" You told him.

"Because you're not a monster Y/n. You're the most amazing girl I've met, faced with such problems and still fighting a good fight." Cedric said putting his hand over yours in a comforting gesture.

"Thanks, Ced." You say looking out and resting your head on his shoulder.

"You know, I can't believe I only first met you because you had gotten lost year one." He reminds you. You never were more grateful you got lost.

"Hehe, I know, you were very kind." You say lightly. You both look out at the school and lake.

"Cedric what do you see you doing in two years once you leave school?" You ask him; next year he'll be seventeen and it'll be his last year here.

"Honestly I have no clue... I just hope that you'll be there to support me, along with Weasleys and Pete." Cedric said nervously.

"Always Ced." You promised. You'd never let your friends down.

"You're coming to the world cup right?" Ceric asks.

"of course! You?" You ask right back. The quidditch world cup was a huge event you weren't going to miss it.

"Well my dad and I should be going, if we do, I hope to see you around."

"Oh well the ban from my family's owls ended so you can send me owls over the summer." You tell him also reminding yourself to later send an owl to your mother about the animagus forms.

You and Cedric talked for a while until you finally both decided to go the game. You got to the stands and heard snickering you told Cedric to go up ahead which he did and you hid around a corner and glanced to see Draco Crabbe and Goyle dressed in Black hoods.

"Come on Malfoy." Goyle said flipping up his hood.

"No... I don't think this is a good idea." Draco said sternly.

"Fine be that way, but then we're going to scare Potter off his broom." Goyle said making Crabbe nod and mumble in agreement.

"Well I'm not going to be a part of this." Draco hissed before storming off. You smiled Harry knew spells and Draco made a strong decision for himself and a good one. You watched the pureblood throw off the black robe and smiled as he stormed off to the castle.

Gryffindor won as Harry had caught the snitch. You were proud of him but didn't care to watch much more after seeing Goyle and Crabbe stuck together in the cloaks they had worn because of the trick they attempted to pull on Harry.

You knew there were big celebrations in Gryffindor that night but you also knew Harry forgave you. You fell asleep and you felt something was wrong you quickly scrambled out of bed and into the common room.

"Harry's in danger." You muttered before running out of your dormitory. You needed to find McGonagall or anyone.

You ran up to the Gryffindor common room and begged the painting to let you in. You quickly ran down you needed to find someone you saw a shadow... a dog?

You shifted and ran down the stairs chasing the dog but by the time you did it was gone but you heard a certain professor behind you.

"Y/n?" McGonagall asked making you turn quickly and shift back into a human.

"Professor McGonagall is Harry alright!?" You ask quickly.

"What do you mean?"

"I heard voices and I got this feeling in my sleep I thought he was in terrible danger." You say noticing out loud it seems a bit crazy.

"It appears Black managed to get in and make yet another attack. But I can assure you Potter is fine." You nod thinking how did Black get in?

"Thank Merlin." You huffed.

"I'm guessing that's why you were out of bed?" McGonagall asked.

"Yes Professor." You told her.

"Then you may go back to bed with a warning. The school must be searched... go to your common room and stay there." She instructed you.

"Yes professor." You answered before she left you.

You hurried off to your common room forgetting about the dog. You were more focused on how Black kept getting in.
