Y/n pov

You had heard teat Harry got a firebolt you also new Hermione had gotten it taken to be checked for hexes. You wanted to comfort your friends but didn't know how. You stayed alone and updated your sister with the help of the thing she gave you. You wanted to do better so that's what you wee going to do.

You had kept yourself standing tall and throughout meals you talked more held yourself with pride. You could see Ron was going to play the long game but Harry wasn't. You and Harry talked a little more he liked to know about you talking to your sister. He must know more than anyone how it feels like to be alone in the wizarding world.

You eventually got a message from Lupin when he wanted you and Harry to have a meeting. You were to meet him in the history of magic classroom.

You went about your classes you knew Lupin was getting paler for lack from holding the wolf inside back that would explain Peters constant pale complexation.

You made it to the classroom on Thursday. You huffed before you opened the door to find Lupin and Harry already there and Lupin with a chest.

"It's a boggart. We'll use this instead of a real dementor." Lupin explained to you.

"Okay." You nodded.

Lupin went on to explain what Patronus's are. You already knew a bit and tuned out.

"So what does a Patronus look like?" Harry asked getting you back to reality.

"It varies for each witch or wizard and generally carries a specific trait within them and the shape the Patronus takes... but here, Y/n can produce an incorporeal Patronus so why don't you go first Y/n, give us an example." Lupin said you nodded standing in front of the chest reading your wand as Harry stood next to Lupin.

Lupin asks "Ready?" You nodded nervously letting out a huff of breath.

You saw something you didn't think you would see. It was almost glitching between what you feared most, you kept trying to think dementor but your doubts and fears crept in. It took the form of Sirius Black and you helping him out of a cell, you shook your head and tried to focus, it shifted to the clocked creature you wanted, you shook as another fear came to mind. You saw Tom Riddle and you, but it wasn't you. You had a tattoo on your right forearm... only it wasn't a tattoo it was the dark mark. You shook as you lowered your wand.

"I said no!" You growled knowing Harry knew who it was.

"I said never. I know I wouldn't!" You hissed pointing your wand back at yourself and Tom Riddle.

You felt your heart freeze. You couldn't do this. You glared at the boggart.

"You aren't real. Neither is she. "You said casting a spell to fire it backwards but it did nothing. "Leave me alone." You growled. You knew this was all fake. You knew what you had to do.

With a incantation and a loud crack the boggart became a simple funny form of the stabbed book which you used magic to toss into the trunk with teary eyes. Lupin closed the chest.

"Sorry professor, I can't be here." You said attempting to walk out. Lupin grabbed your arm making you look at him.

"Please just wait outside the door." He asked you.

You nodded and walked out shutting the door just going over everything in your head... by the looks of it the one thing that never escaped your mind was 'traitor'. You never meant to do anything to hurt anyone.

You eventually got called back in by Lupin and you saw Harry on the ground eating chocolate.

You looked up with a tear stained face at Lupin.
