I know that Mr. Moriarty didn't buy the whole hangover excuse but he didn't ask anymore. He regarded by severe stomachache as the answer as I hunch over the table, groaning.

I heard him chuckle beside me and I glared at him with my face hidden for him to see, I can't risk him deducting my glare to my wages.

"How's your hangover? Did it run to your belly?" He chuckled and I gritted my teeth to stop myself from retorting back. I only shook my head and run my hand in my bloated belly.

I heard him shuffle in his sit and a soft thud came from something he placed in my table. I look up from my position and saw a rubber container wrapped in a thin cloth.

"Place it on top of your belly, it helps," I heard him say and he resumes typing. I hesitantly grab the bag and dropped it back in the desk when it scalded me. I hissed and waved my hand around when someone's hand reached out and grab ahold of it.

I stop moving and watch as Mr. Moriarty blow on my fingers. His face was still unseen but his ash brown hair was visible. My free hand twitched as the overwhelming urge to run my hands on his hair arises.

I felt his hand loosen around mine and this time I look up. I knew he was staring at me and I got curious on what he looked like. He let go of my hand and cleared his throat, "You should be careful Ms. Perey,"

I nodded meekly and reached out to the bag again when he beat me to it. He snatched it and push my shoulder gently so I was leaning on my seat. He place the bag on top of my stomach and let go.

"You should rest for awhile," Mr. Moriarty said and I nodded. I felt butterflies in my stomach and tingling sensation in my hand where he held on. I should probably scald my hand more often. I scolded myself mentally when the though run in my head.

I closed my eyes and listened to the sound of his typing.

The sound of my ringtone made me jump from my seat. I heard Mr. Moriarty muttering profanities under his breath. I quickly grabbed my phone on my desk and pressed the answer button.

"Temper speaking,"

"Hey Temp, its me Justin, Jodie gave me your number. I was wondering if you would want to grab a bite tonight after your work? Will that be good?"

I glance towards Sean who stopped typing, he probably heard what Justin said. "Sure," I replied hesitantly and I heard Justin breathe out a sigh of relief, "For a second there I thought you are going to say no. I'll pick you up at six, bye." And just like that, he hanged up.

Sean shifted beside me and I turn my attention to him. "Friend of yours?" The tone be used sounded protective and I nodded, ignoring how his stare drilled in my side.

No words were furthermore exchanged after that and we both were back in our usual silence. The remaining hours were basically just ignoring each other, writing down what he says when he's on his phone and his time to time insult.

When his digital clock turned five, I stood up from my seat and grabbed my bag. "See you tomorrow sir," I said to him before heading out.

"Careful,"

I close the door behind me and stood still. The way he said it was familiar as if he has used the tone to me casually before. My heart was jumping up and down inside my chest and blood rush to my cheeks for now particular reason.

My phone rung in my bag and I pulled out of the back pocket. I press it on my ear and greeted. Justin's familiar voice echoed in my ear and I smiled, "Ready for dinner? We're having seafood,"

I grimaced and rub my belly and swallowed, "Great!" But it was hardly enthusiastic. I had just recovered from the pain and I think seafood and I are done for awhile but I felt bad if I say no.

When I reached the front desk, I found Justin leaning on the desk, talking with Jodie who was wearing a dark green dress that ended up to her ankles. She had her hair down and curled at the bottom. When she saw me, she waved me over with a grin.

I walk over to her and hugged her. "I'm sorry I didn't drop you off on your first day, how's it been?"

"Its fine Jodie and my first day was great, Everest payed for my lunch," I grinned and Jodie's face brightened. "Great, Everest and I will be coming with the two of you so its a double date,"

I blink and gaped at her, "Date? Oh no, Justin and I are only going to catch up with the time we lost, aren't we Justin?" I nudged him gently on his side. His face fell and I felt guilty but I couldn't risk. He regained himself and nodded with a smile, "Of course it is, Pop and I are just friends,"

Jodie raise her brow at us and shrug her shoulders and waved somebody over. I turn my body to look and I saw Everest walking towards us. He bounded excitedly to Jodie and gave her a quick hug before he did the same to me and Justin.

The two of them dragged both Justin and I towards their car and we headed to the same seafood restaurant Everest and I went to eat for lunch.

We sat in one of the VIP rooms in the restaurant and a waiter took our order.

Jodie grinned at me and leaned forward, "How was Sean?"

"Weird. He doesn't want me to see his face and the room is really dark and cold. He gives me insults by time to time but the rest of it was just silence and his occasional phone calls,"

Jodie's grin dropped and Everest nudged her with a giddy smile, "See I told you my brother was acting weird, he never wants his office dark, it makes him hard to see his computer," Everest giggled like a kid and Jodie glared at him.

We moved on from the topic and started talking about highschool.

After eating dinner, Justin bid goodbye at us and went home ahead. Jodie, Everest and I went to his car and went home together.

I headed straight to where I was sleeping in and took a warm bath before burying myself in the comforts of the bed and drifting into a deep slumber.
