"Everett, RUN!!!"

Everett was tackled to the ground by Justin and he struggled underneath Justin's body pressed up against him. Justin held a knife in his hand and I watch in horror as he swing the blade effortlessly, like a trained killer.

Everett dodge his every move and would move forward at every opening Justin gives him. I realized that he was heading towards me.

I shook my head furiously, "Please no Everett, don't go near me, he'll kill you, run," I cried out and fell back on the bed. Suddenly, a shadow loomed over me and I saw Everett. He was sweating a lot and was pale, he look at me in the eye and said, "I'm sorry, I should have told you who I am, I am so sorry," he breathes out and I look behind him, "Watch out," using my tied up hand, I push him away from me and he stumbled back, avoiding Justin's knife in mere inches.

I cried out as Justin dive towards him with his knife raised above his head. Everett put his legs up and used it to pushed Justin away by kicking on his stomach. It was probably a hard kick since Justin doubled over to the ground and starting coughing, his knife skids towards me.

The lower left leg and the upper left leg of the bed gave out under my weight and I landed on the ground with a sharp thud. Pain shot through my back and I screamed. I took a deep breath and reached out to the knife near my hand.

Once my finger were wrapped around the hilt, I twist it around and started cutting on the rope on my wrist.

The sounds of grunts and cracking were heard and I peered over my shoulder to see them wrestling on the ground. Justin seem to be winning over Everett since he had a lot of chances on top than under.

After I rip the rope out of my left wrist, I started again with the right and to my ankles. The ropes were finally broken free from my wrist and dark purple bruises were already present in my wrists and ankles.

Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw Justin stood up and grab the broken table on the ground. My eyes widened and adrenaline courses through every part of my body. I jump up from my position and started running towards Justin.

Justin was already looming over Everett's slump form on the ground. He raised the broken table and I screamed, I slammed into him and the knife I was holding, buried deep inside his stomach. Justin turned stiff and he dropped the table on the floor and gasp. He lean his head on my shoulder and took a deep breath, "How...cou—ld you?" And he fell to the ground, spurting out blood from his mouth.

I gasp and dropped the bloody knife on the ground. I fell to the ground and started trembling. Everett sat up from his position and crawled towards me. He pulled me in his arms and I buried my head on his chest, crying.

Voices appeared and I raise my head and saw Jodie rushing towards us with Everest and the rest following behind her. She kneeled to the ground and pulled me towards her. I hugged her back.

Pete gasp and knelt on the floor beside Justin. He shook Justin's body and started crying.

An hour later, I am now sitting on the back of the ambulance. My wrist and ankles were wrapped in bandages with cooling cream in it. Everett was beside me, his arm sling over my shoulder. I leaned my head on his shoulder.

"Why didn't you just tell me honestly who you were?" I asked meekly and Everett shifted his shoulders so that he could look at me and plant a kiss on my head before removing his arm around me and hunching over, staring at the ground.

"I was ashamed of what I did,"

I narrowed my eyes at him and he sigh, "I know you have been having dreams, you probably know how we met and how it ended with a letter," he started and my heart skipped a bear at the thought of the letter.

"The day you got the letter was the day I got married to Lady Emily, I sent Bufford, my butler to give you the letter. He reported to me that your mother took you home. After hearing that, I directly headed to the palace hoping I could explain furthermore but I was minutes too late," Everett shuddered and tears fell from his eyes.

I rub his back gently, "What happened?" I asked and he look at me with eyes filled with sadness, "You jumped off your window and broke your neck and back, killing you in the process," he said and I froze. That was unexpected.

Everett continued, "The guilt was there, I just run towards your body and pulled it close to mine. I can hear your mother crying behind me but I ignored them all. Everything around me was nothing anymore, I have nothing to live for. I blamed myself for your death, I didn't bed my wife that night, I just headed straight to the hill and stayed there until the next day,"

I wiped his tears and cooed at him, "I took my own life a week after that, I jumped off my window and died the same way as you did," he sob and I pulled him close to me. Everett was tall and he bend his body over and leaned his head on my shoulder, seeking comfort.

"The next life I had, I became a prince who was crowned a king without a queen. I refused to marry anyone until I find you. I had an advisor named Lord Miliband who enjoys to go to brothels, news got around that he impregnated a prostitute by accident. I dressed up as one of his servants and followed him in the middle of the night to where he was heading and he led me to a small cottage. I saw you lying on a bed with a round belly, he killed right in front of me. I attempted to kill him but he he beat me to it and the next day, he was hanged for killing me," I closed my eyes trying to get rid of the memory of my second life.

"My third life, I was once again a son of a duke and I enjoyed breaking the rules. One rule, of which I have done countless of times was to watch a show called Circus. And I saw you there which made me watch more, I was going to sneak you out of there until one of the performers told me that you died, whipped,"

He took a deep breath, "I jumped off a cliff near the place I called home. In my fourth life, I became a general and I led an army, a strong one. I saw you in a ball, the ball in which you sneaked out and went straight to the gazebo and you met one of my men named Ben," Everett glanced at the white lump in a stretcher that was about to be placed in another ambulance.

"I kept track of you and I found out that you were living together. I gave up after that until I got the news that a body was seen in the river found near the slums. I headed there and I saw your bloated body floating around the river. Without thinking, I jump into the river and my armor sank me below and I drowned,"

"My last life, I was merchant who travelled around the world, selling priceless materials and buying priceless ones as well. I reached a town ruled temporarily by a former general, I sold him a stone worth more than anything so in return, he let me stay in his home for as long as me and my companions would like. The day I saw you, I was looking around, exploring. You were kneeling on the ground facing a large crowd of servants and a half naked man holding up a sword above your head. For a brief moment, I knew you saw me but he chop down your head before I could even blink. I slipped and hit my head on the rocks and I died, it was a hard impact,"

I blinked and frowned, "You hate me don't you?" He asked and I shook my head, "I would never, even if I die in this life because of you, I would never," I whispered and he smiled. His smile was gentle and warm. A tingling feeling appeared in my stomach and I smiled back.

He leaned forward and smirked, "I found you," he whispered and crash his lips into mine. I wrap my arms around his shoulders and pulled him close and our kiss deepened.

Once we broke free, I grinned at him, "And I found you,"
