I was back in my dream. This time I was fully aware of everything. I wasn't wearing the stupid yellow dress anymore instead I was wearing a purple dress that was filled with beads of different kinds and a tight bodice underneath the fabric.

I took lungful of air and breath out, I was somewhere in a party. The room I was in was glittering and shining. The curtains were golden color and if you take a closer look, you could say that the thread was suspiciously made of gold. A big glimmering chandelier hanged in the middle of the room, giving light for the people dancing underneath it.

A big cake was on a table by the side along with other sweets. I look around and saw a pile of presents a few steps away from me. I was wondering where I was.

I started walking around the side when someone grabbed my waist and pulled me behind the curtain and out to the balcony that the golden fabric had hid behind.

I had no time to scream nor struggle when the one who grabbed me, turn me around and I came face to face to Everett. He was wearing suit matching the color of my dress. He had a rose behind his ear and I found it funny how beautiful he looked like while he was really handsome at the same time.

He grinned at me. "I have been waiting the whole night to get some time alone with you," he whispered in my ear and tingles shot up in my spine as his lips brush behind my ear. I shivered slightly and tilted my head to the side as if I was inviting him.

He pulled away and grinned at me again. "You look really beautiful," he said and let go of me. I moved back and tuck a strand of my hair when it loosen in my bun and fell in my face.

I met his eyes and I bit my tongue to stop myself from sighing. He was handsome and tall and had broad shoulders. His biceps were bulging in his sleeves and I wanted to run my hands in those glorious mountains.

"How do you feel with your first birthday ball?"

I started talking without any control which has been happening quite a lot lately.

"Special, I feel special. My parents sent out the invitation to all the noble families from this country and they all brought me different kinds of presents,"

Everett was looking at me with a smile playing at his lips and his eyes shining with something. He was leaning on the wall, watching me intensely. I felt bare under his stare but it gave me a satisfied shiver.

"I didn't see you drop a present in the pile, where's my present?" I had my hand stretched towards him with a false glare. He moved away from the wall and moved towards me. He grabbed my outstretched hand and wrap my arm around his neck and pulled me close.

"Happy birthday Temperance," he whispered huskily in my ear before he crashed his lips into mine. Molding our parted lips together perfectly.
