True to my words, Greta and I met once again in my fourth life and this time I was named Lina and she as Cara. I was a daughter of a soldier who died in war and so my mother remarried to a merchant. Cara became my sister in my fourth reincarnation and it was very pleasing to know that it truly happened.

I am slightly relieved that in my fourth life I was able breathe fresh air without any smell of blood lingering with it. Cara never knew who she was in the last life but she was still the same timid and gentle girl that I learned to love and understand.

When I turned sixteen, the merchant that my mother married, have given Cara and I an invitation to a ball in the palace to welcome the king's mighty soldiers who won in war just recently.

"I'm so excited Lina, I can't stop myself from jumping up and down in my toes. Imagine the boys we're going to meet, we might even find the ones we are going marry," Cara squealed and I rolled my eyes at her as I tightened my corset on me. "You're too young to think about these things Cara," I said and she pouted at me.

I slip in my dress and did my hair. "I'm old enough to find a boy for me," Cara retorted and powdered her cheeks. I glanced at her through the mirror and smiled.

Between Cara and I, she was more mature and sensible. Her decisions are all from her head. I, on the other hand much prefer to follow my heart and that leads me to do stupid decisions but when it comes to boys, she's a goner.

Cara is really beautiful for her age and I can't deny it. She had that vibrant blonde hair that has its natural curls and it never went out of place. Her eyes were like two chocolates, so appeasing in the beholder. Her lips were full and red. She is nearly tall as me and very thin and curvy.

We are both nearly the same except for the fact that my hair was was shorter and straighter. My eyes were a set of stormy gray that I find a bit dull. My lips were full just like Cara's but it was pinkish and dry. I'm tall but my hips are wide and weird but my mother always tells me that my body was good for childbearing.

By the time the sun had started to set, Cara did some remaining touches in my hair and dress before pulling me out of the house towards the elegant carriage awaiting outside our doors.

We arrive at the palace a few moments after and Cara was bouncing on her seat with excitement. I always hate this kinds of things, balls had to do dances and interactions and I was never good at both.

My sister dragged me towards her group of friends and they started talking. As I said, I was never good in interactions so while Cara was busy talking with her friends, I slip behind a curtain and run out of the ballroom and towards the garden.

"Fresh air at last," I grinned and sat on the wooden seat in the gazebo that I just found after roaming around the garden. A twig snapped nearby and turn my head slightly to look and I saw a man dressed very elegantly in a suit. His black hair was swept to the side perfectly but a stubborn cowlick stood upright in his mat of hair.

He walked towards me and I was slightly startled at how fetching he was. I eyed him up and down and my eyes landed on a badge on his chest.

"Mind if I join you?" He asked and my heart started to beat faster at how smooth and deep his voice was, very arousing.

"Of course, I don't own the gazebo, why should I deny any entry?" I gestured for him to sit on the bench across of me. With his long strides, he sat himself down on the sit too perfectly.

"What brought you here in this fine evening?" He ask and I shrug my shoulders and turn to gaze upon the moonlight. "Interactions with others are not my thing," I replied and cross my leg over the other. He gasp and placed a hand on his chest, "Neither do I, we must be fated," he joked and I laugh along with him.
