A month has passed and I got used with everything around me. Everyday was the same routine to avoid being late at work.

Wake up at five and take a long bath. By five thirty, I'm already wearing something and is headed down the stairs and to the kitchen. I insisted on moving out but Jodie insisted that I stay permanently, Everest agreed and so did Mr. Sean Moriarty so I started living with them.

By six, I'm already heading towards the building together with Everest and Jodie. I spend the remaining minutes to seven watching both Everest and Jodie flirt with each other and steal kisses from time to time.

By six fifty seven, I'm already in front of Penelope, greeting her with a glare as she did so to me. I head to Sean's office and would take a seat on my desk and do my usual work every single day.

I had got used with everything, all except Justin's pursuing on me. He wanted me to be his girlfriend but I denied him many times but that man was hard. He kept doing it again and again everyday.

But this Thursday morning was different.

"A vacation?"

Mr. Moriarty's silhouette nodded and I scowled, "I haven't even got my first pay and you decide that we go on a vacation?"

Again, Sean nodded and I pulled on my hair in frustration. "Who's coming? Where are we going? Are you bringing me along?"I rambled and Sean nodded again. What's up with him today?

"You can spend your early leave to prepare for the trip, Jodie is already outside waiting for you," and that was it. I glared at him and marched out of the room. Penelope was no longer in her desk so I assumed that she was coming with us too. This is gonna be the greatest vacation ever...not.

Jodie as indeed waiting for me. Once I was out, I spotted her leaning casually on the wall, wrapped in Everest's arms. "Hey Temper, ready for a break?" Jodie pulled away from Everest and threw her arms around me. I hugged her back and nodded my head. "I guess,"

Everest slip between us and slung his arms around our shoulders. "Don't be a party popper Temper, this is gonna be fun," he lead us to the elevator and we all headed back home.

Everest went to his room when we reached home and Jodie dragged be to her's. Her room was mess, by the looks of it, it seems she was packing up before she headed to my work to pick Everest and I up.

Her clothes were literally everywhere, even in the ceiling, God knows how it ended up there. Suitcases were everywhere too and I lost count by the time I reached six, there were too many to keep on.

Her vanity desk had all sorts of cosmetics sprawled around, some were open. I rub the space between my eyes and sigh, "What's happening here?" I whispered under my breath but Jodie heard it and she turn to me with a pile of clothes in her arms. How many clothes can fit in her closet?

"I'm preparing, didn't Sean tell you where we are heading?" She asked and I watch silently as she shoved a bunch of shoes inside a bag.

"Nah, I left after he told me, I got pissed,"

Jodie glanced at me and twisted her lips sideways disapprovingly, "What'd he do this time?"

"He hasn't paid me my first wage and he's off planning a vacation in God knows where," I threw my hands up and Jodie's cheeks puffed and she started giggling.

"We're going to Maldives,"

I blinked at what she said and my mouth hanged open, "Are you serious?" I breathe out and Jodie nodded with a grin, "He planned everything out. We're staying in a hotel in Baros Island and some of us would be sharing rooms,"

"Who's coming?"

Jodie squealed and jumped up and down like a kid. "All of our friends, Roxanne, Timmy, Pete, and Justin," the way she stressed out Justin's name made me feel sick and weird. I just shook my head and helped her pack before I headed to my room and pack a few things for my own.

By Seven in the evening, Jodie dragged me to the mall to buy a swimwear which I fairly disagreed to since I wasn't planning on taking a dip but she went out and find me one. It took an hour before we headed back home, ate dinner, had a movie night and slept.
