Layla looked at the treacher and couldn't help but laugh, she turned to Alaric with a huge grin on her face, and shrugged her shoulders "He's underestimating me, that's all right I'll show him."

As she turned around, she noticed the evil smirk on his face while twirling the knife around. She tilted her head to the side and gave him an evil smirk back "Are you sure you know how to use that?"

He laughed an evil laugh "Of course I do, do you take me as a fool?" He stopped twirling the knife around and as he aimed the knife at her, she froze his hands, and with the use of her eyes spun the knife around, aimed it at his heart and had him stab himself.

"You guys never learn do you." she giggled "I guess you idiots have no clue on what I can do." she mocked as she placed her hands over his, shoving the knife further into his heart.

Alaric walked over, placed his hands on the treachers neck and leaned into his ear "She warned you." he said, just before snapping it's neck. "Come on, let's hurry and get out of here." he said as he looked at her. He walked over to her bear, picked it up and reached his arm out for her.

When they got home Layla decided to go see Trevor, she opened the door, and walked over to him and grinned when she saw how much pain he was in "Doesn't feel good, does it?" she got in his face and stared into his eyes, causing him to cry out in pain as she made him feel like his eyeballs were being stabbed by a dagger.

She wanted to hear how much in pain he was and smiled "You can now speak."

"Layla!" he cried out in pain "Please stop!"

She crossed her arms and gave him a sour look "Your begging for mercy, but when my mother begged for you all to stop, you didn't... so why should I?"

"Layla, please..."

She kneeled and smirked "Nope... because of what happened to my mother, and what your plans were for me, I'm not going to stop."

Trevor covered his eyes with his hands, pressing hard to stop the pain. She released the pressure from his eyes, and stood up "Tonight, we ran into some of your friends, they're no longer around, one of them had the nerve to tell me to release you, and if I refused to let you go, both Alaric and I are dead... that someone is smarter than us, and we wouldn't see it coming... So tell me, who is this person?"

"I have no clue." he said, barley getting the words out as he continued holding his eyes.

Layla knew he was lying and shocked him with electricity "I'll do it again... now tell me, if you're not the leader, who the fuck is?"

Trevor opened his mouth, was about to speak and passed out. Layla zapped him again, trying to wake him, but couldn't.

"Dammit!" Layla said loudly in frustration, as she looked at Alaric.

Alaric reached his arm out, waving her to him "Come on, it's late... question him another time."

"If he isn't the leader, I'd like to know who it is... it almost looked like he was going to tell me."

"Maybe, maybe not... I don't think he will tell you anything, and it could have been a ploy just for you to release him to them."

Layla felt beat, and was ready for bed. She looked back at Trevor, sighed, and stomped her foot, angry that he passed out. "I guess you're right, I'll just have to see if I can get it out of him tomorrow."

During the night Layla tossed and turned, thinking about everything that had been said to her. After a while, she was finally able to fall asleep, then fell into a deep sleep.

She began dreaming of her childhood, Trevor, her mother, and what it was like living with her before she was sent away. While she dreamt, she watched herself wake up, walk out of the room, and slowly walk to where she heard people talking.
