Alaric released Trevor, setting him down. Both looked at Layla not knowing what to say. "I was just discussing with Trevor that he needs to stay away from you."
She was still upset with Trevor, looked away from Alaric and over at Trevor "I thought I told you to stay away from me, I'm still pissed at you." She looked back at Alaric and knew there was something more going on between the two "So?"
He squinted his eyebrows, and gave her a questionable look "So? What's that supposed to mean?"
She placed her hands on her hips and began tapping her foot as she looked back and forth from Alaric to Trevor "I'm waiting..."
"For?" Alaric asked, trying to act like he didn't know what she was wanting to know.
"Don't play stupid, I want to know how you two know each other."
"Tell her." Trevor piped in.
She looked at Trevor, walked over to him, and stared at him while trying to read his mind. "Why are you staring at me like that?" He didn't like the way she was looking at him and took a step back. "Why do you have that scary look in your eye?"
She grew frustrated that she couldn't read his mind, and placed a couple fingers on her temples trying to concentrate. Trevor looked at Alaric with a confused look and started growing suspicious "What is she doing?"
"She has a headache, and you're not helping." Alaric snapped. He walked over to Layla, wrapped an arm around her, and walked her over to the couch. "I don't get it." she whispered confused. She looked up and over to Trevor asking that he leave.
"Come on Layla, I came over to talk with you and to apologize, but I see this killer already has you brainwashed into thinking I'm the bad guy."
"You did it yourself... please, just leave." She placed her head in her hands, and felt infuriated that neither one would tell her how they knew each other, and what their ties may be.
Trevor didn't like being asked to leave, and felt he had her under his mind control, he looked at Alaric and took a swing at him, knocking him to the ground. Layla stood up screaming, and trying to get in between them to break the two up from fighting. "Stop! Stop! I mean it!"
Alaric didn't want to scare Layla, and let Trevor do his thing, knowing when Layla wasn't around, he'd finish their disagreement. Trevor had Alaric on the ground, with his one fist holding onto his shirt, and his other hand balled into a fist getting ready to punch Alaric in the face when a sudden force had Trevor flying across the room.
Alaric pushed himself up and looked at Layla "Was that necessary?"
She ignored Alaric, and turned her eyes toward Trevor "Leave, before I do or say something I'll regret."
Trevor slowly stood himself up and stormed out of the house. As he walked to his car he looked back at the house and shook his head, he knew there was no way that she could have lifted him and throw him the way she did, he lowered his head and laughed. "She's discovering her powers... it's only a matter of time."
Layla shut the door and stormed over to Alaric as he was cleaning the blood off his face, shoving him. "Now's the time to fill me in on what's going on between you two."
Alaric sighed hard and rubbed his face, he didn't know what to tell her and couldn't keep it from her any longer. He sat her down on the couch and began to explain to her what he knew "I don't know how to tell you this... but he's one of them. His family has remained hidden for years, they've been running around here acting like normal people, when in fact, they're not. He only befriended you when he found out who you were. That's when I came into the picture, and was ordered to protect you. He isn't your friend Layla, believe me... he wants something from you. By him becoming your friend was a way of getting in and getting what they want."
