"So I love this idea to get everyone together, but how are we going to contact that many people, when we don't even know where they are?" I look to Lissa and Rex, hoping they might have an answer, but Sam is the first one to speak up.

"I have an idea," He pauses, and I nod, telling him to say it, "We only need to contact Marzena, and she can bring everyone to us." I knit my brows in confusion, and Sam's face says that he just mentioned something he shouldn't have.

"She wasn't one of the people Lissa just named, who is she?" Sam makes a really uncomfortable expression. I look around and no one seems like they want to answer. "Well someone better answer me!" Sam grunts and hides his face in his hands.

"Marzena is his daughter," Lissa says.

"Well, what's so bad about that? We have a ton of kids already, what's more?" I gesture around with my hands.

"Because mother, Marzena isn't your daughter." I balk and sit back on the couch. Katherine places a hand on my knee and squeezes it gently.

"You... you cheated on me?" I stumble my words. Sam looks up, frantically.

"No! No. I can explain." I feel something hot in my chest, and I feel tears welling up in my eyes. I jump from the couch and walk out of the room, everyone calling my name. I slam the door behind me when I hear footsteps coming. I turn to the door and a red light shines from my hand and the knob twists and contorts until it's completely broken. The light in my hand fades and place my palm on the wall, asking the light to guide me to a hiding place. The light moves away quickly, sensing my anger, and I run after it. When the dot stops moving, it's outside my bedroom door. I shake in anger.

"This isn't a hiding place!" I shout at the dot. It shudders and pops off the wall. My door swings open and the dot goes inside. I follow the dot as it leads through the bedroom and the bathroom and stops in the closet. "Still not a good place!" I cross my arms and I swear the dot is rolling its eyes at me. It flies up into the ceiling and one of the tiles bumps open. The dot bumps the ceiling again and when the tile moves back a bit more, a ladder falls down. I raise my eyebrow. "Now that is a hiding place." I turn to the dot. "If you tell anyone where I am, I will destroy you." I flash the red light from my palm at it and it bops up and down, shaking its head. I lower my hand and motion for it to leave. It flies out of the closet and gently closes the door behind it.

I step on to the cloth ladder and struggle my way up until I can pull myself through the open tile. When I grab the wood beam and pull myself up, I'm greeted by darkness. I roll my eyes and sit down on the floor. I pull the ladder up and push the tile back into place, completely sealing myself in darkness. I put my hand in front of my face and it's so dark I can't even tell it's there. I sigh and put my hand back down.  I cross my legs and try to think of something to help. I remember after the second time I passed out, that I woke up and my whole body was emitting light. That could help right now. I close my eyes and try to recreate that feeling. I feel a warm shiver go through me and I see a faint glow start to come from my body. I open my eyes and look down at my hands, which are glowing a faint gold color. I amp up the power coming from me and the glow gets extremely bright. I grin to myself. I'm such a badass.

I look around me and gasp at the surroundings. The room is completely blank, and there are constellations softly glowing on every surface. The only thing in this room is a bland wooden door on the wall opposite of the spot I'm sitting. I tilt my head and rise from the floor slowly. I walk over to the door and find that it's locked. When I try to twist the handle, a voice speaks.

"Identification please." I frown.

"Cassandra." The voice sighs.

"Full name? Middle included please." I pout my lips. This is the bossiest P.A. system ever.
