(Peter's POV)
Today when I woke up, I thought it was gonna be a pretty good day. I was gonna see Mr. Stark and we could have a fun day in the lab. Maybe later we could go do something else, y'know.
Before my head exploded.
Once I was finished getting dressed, my head suddenly started throbbing for no reason. I put my hand on my head and sat down on my bed as the pain in my head just got worse. There was a slight ringing in my head and I felt like I was underwater.
I decide to man up and get up from my bed slowly and carefully as to not disturb my head. I walk to my door and open it, walking out and down the hall. Aunt May was already at work and Tony had already sent Happy to pick him up outside.
I basically stumble down the stairs and outside to the car. Once I get there I take a deep breath and get into the car, putting my seatbelt on and leaning against the car door.
"Hey, Happy." I say, a bit more quieter than usual.
"Hi." He responds, starting the car. We get going to the tower a few seconds later.
It's been a nice, quiet drive so far and outside isn't very light. As a matter of fact, it looks like storm clouds are rolling in. I just hope it's not a loud one...
Because my head already feels like it has exploded.
"You're quiet." Happy finally says.
"Yeah." I respond, wanting to say more. But I can't. I'm focusing too much on my head. It's beginning to just throb and hurt a lot.
"How come?" He asks, looking in his rearview mirror breifly.
I sigh and shake my head side to side. "It's nothing." Lies.
"It's obviously something." Happy says, not getting off of the subject. I just need to be quiet and vague. Maybe that'll tell him I don't wanna talk.
"My head hurts." I say, looking out the window at the city.
He makes a sound of acknowledgement and stays silent for almost the rest of the trip. Probably because he's tired of listening to me already.
Once we arrive at the tower, I get out of the car and thank Happy. I then walk to the front door and knock.
I wait there for a few seconds before FRIDAY says I'm allowed in. She also tells me that Tony is on the fifth floor and is waiting for me up there. I walk inside and wave at the receptionist, passing by her to the elevator without saying anything.
I walk into the elevator and press the "5" button. I lean against the elevator walls, resting my head lightly against the wall. I still am in immense pain and my head is throbbing, making my ears ring, but I can't just let down Tony freaking Stark. I don't think anyone will be able to live that down.
Once the door opens, I walk to the place Tony is at and look at him, walking up behind him until I'm a few feet away. I clear my throat. "Hey, Mr. Stark."
He doesn't look at me, but he notices my presence. "Hey kiddo. Ready work on the suit?" He asks, patting the spot next to him briefly.
"Yeah, I am." I say, walking over to the spot next to him. I look over at what he's working on, which seems to be something on my suit. I lended him the suit a few days ago right before I left so that he could work on it and tell me what kind of updates he worked on while I was gone.
"Here, you can start working on this." Tony says, handing me a piece of paper with wording on it. I grab it and scan over the words, reading it. I can't focus very well because the pain in my head seems to be slowly getting worse.
