(3rd person)
Five year old Peter ran around the tower, full of energy and excitement about the day ahead. He had just finished the first week of kindergarten and gotten to the weekend. He made many new friends and his teachers loved him. After all, he was a brilliant kid, according to his teachers. But that wasnt what was on his mind.
He was going to bake cookies with his Aunt Natasha. But not just any cookies, of course. They were Peter's favorite - snickers cookies! They were chewy cookies with a small snickers candy in the middle (they're delicious). It sounded simple, but Peter wanted more than just simple. Everything had to be at least a little extra when it came down to baking cookies.
So Peter was bouncing off of the walls for the past quarter of an hour waiting for his Auntie Tasha to get to the tower. He refused to just sit there and wait when his father, Tony, had asked him to because of his excitement. Tony just allowed him to be the ball of energy he was for a while so he could tucker himself out and be calm as they baked.
Peter ran up to his father and put his hands on his knees, jumping up and down. "Daddy! Daddy! When is Auntie Tasha gonna be here?"
Tony sighed, looking down at his son. "I don't know, He actually did know when Natasha would be there, but he didnt want to tell him due to the grey hairs he was already receiving from his child. Only a few more minutes he said to himself. Inside his own head, of course.
It had been a couple of minutes and Natasha wasn't there. Tony was getting worried and tried texting her, ultimately getting no response. Peter was fine, patiently waiting for Nat to get there and amusing himself by playing with his tablet. It was a drawing app of some sort.
Peter wasnt an artist, but he still loved to draw whenever he felt bored or just plain wanted to draw. He obviously wasnt the best at it, but he was good for a 5 year old. Or at least as good as a child could be at drawing, painting, etc. And he liked to do it, so he counted that as a plus.
The young boy set the tablet beside him after a few minutes, whining. "When will she be here?" Tony looked over at his son and then back at his phone. "I dunno son. Why dont you go down to the front door and wait. She should be here soon."
Peter's face lights up. "Ok, papa! I'll see you in a little bit!" He says, sprining up and running to the elevator. FRIDAY greets him and takes him to his destination.
As soon as the small boy gets there, he sits by the door and waits, swinging his legs. He looks around the room, picking up details about the place he'd never seen before. It was a wonder for him, as he was mesmerized by the place.
The doorbell rang eventually, scaring the poor boy put of his skull. But he recovered very quickly and jumped up, giggling as he opened the door.
"Auntie Tasha!!" He exclaimed, jumping onto her and hugging her tightly.
Natasha chuckled. "What's up, bud?" She hugged Peter back.
"I was just hanging out with papa a few minutes ago! And now that you're here we can make some cookies!" Peter exclaimed, bouncing off of the walls.
"Well, lets not waste anymore time. C'mon, let's get to the kitchen." Natasha said with a genuine smile. This boy really could light up a room.
Peter giggled and detached himself from Natasha. He suddenly started running. "I'll race you to the kitchen, Auntie Tasha!"
Natasha gasped. "Oh no you won't! Get back here, silly boy!" She says, running after the little ball of energy.
