FFH spoilers ahead.

This is basically an AU of what happens with EDITH on the bus.

(Peter's POV)

I sit in a seat near the front of the bus, holding the small box in my hands carefully. Nobody sits next to me, as expected, so I just scoot to the wall of the bus. I look down at the box.

I grab the top of it and open it. I look at the glasses that were placed neatly on the inside. They looked like Mr. Starks old glasses. I tear up just a little bit, but shake it off.

I grabbed the glasses and placed them carefully on my face. I then look back down in the box and grab the note inside. I read it out loud, but not so loud that everyone could hear me.

The glasses suddenly turn on when I say, the name 'EDITH' and I freeze, a pure wave of shock rushing over me.

"What's with the face, Peter?" A female voice asked. I become speechless, not knowing what to say. I can see Tonyout from the glasses. He's in my vision, in one side of my glasses. His figure and everything.

"Surprised to see me?" Tony asked, chuckling a bit. He sighed soon after, a small smile kept on his face. "I miss you a lot, kiddo."

"I-" Is the only thing I'm able to spit out. I take a deep breath. And a shakey one at that. I'm finally able to say a full sentence. "I-I really miss you too..."

"Yeah, I know." Tony says, as if he's actually able to hear me.

"W-Wait, can you hear me?!" I ask, trying to keep it down.

"Yep, I sure can, kiddo." Tony said, putting his one free hand on the back of his neck. "Listen kid, I know you feel badly right now. But you really don't have to worry. I'll be here. Always."

I nod, tears stinging my eyes. "I-I understand."

"Oh, Pete. I wish I didn't have to do this. I know you already have so much weight left on your shoulders. But I need you to stay strong for me, okay? Promise me this." Tony says, looking at me with teary eyes also.

"It's really hard. I just... I really miss seeing your face in real life." I say, now on the verge of tears. "I don't want to let you down, sir..."

"I'll always be here. Whether in spirit form, I'll always be in your heart and head. I'll always be here too. So if you need to talk to me, just activate EDITH and tell her you want to talk to me. Now please, wipe those tears. You're gonna make me cry too." Tony says.

I smile sadly and wipe my eyes with my sleeve.

"That's it. You'll do fine out there. Remember, you're the next Iron-Man. Embrace it. You're phenomenal when it comes to tech like mine." Tony smiles, tears forming in his eyes.

"Yeah. Thank you, sir. You're the best." I say, leaning against the window of the bus.

"Well, I wouldn't say that." Tony says, smirking slightly.

"But it's true." I say, also smirking.

"Whatever you say, kid. I'll take your word for it." Tony shrugs a bit.

I chuckle a bit. I look out the window, only being able to see him in my periferal vision.

"Well, I do have to leave. I love ya kid." Tony said, getting my attention.

"Oh, okay. I love you... too..?" I say. I don't really know how to respond to him saying 'I love you' to me. Just like as if I was family or something...

"I'll see you soon, Pete. Hopefully, at least. Be safe, please." He says.

I nod. "Yeah. Yeah, okay."

"Love ya. Bye." The 'video call' ended and I take the glasses off slowly.

I remember the conversation and play it through my head. I'm left sort of confused.

Some of the stuff he said didn't make much sense. But, I guess I will make sense of it soon the more I think of it.

I put the glasses back in their case and remember...

I still need to get rid of the image on his phone!!!

I quickly put the glasses back on and EDITH speaks to me, asking what's wrong and all that. I urgently tell her that she needs to delete that image on Brad's phone.

And then... everything just goes to hell.

Yep. This is based off of the image in the beginning of the chapter. I just kinda liked the idea and decided to idk write about it. So yeah. Ok bye.
