(Third Person POV)

Peter was dropped off at the compound for no reason at all. He guessed that Aunt May had work for longer today than usual, so he hung out at the compound whenever that happened.

Today, all of the Avengers were there and they all seemed to be busy. Tony was working on an experiment, Steve, Natasha and Thor were in the training room, Bruce was in the Med Bay and Clint was doing target practice.

But Peter was oblivious to all of this, so he just wandered around, trying to find somebody. He eventually found Tony in a lab, so he walked to the door and opened it.

"Mr. Stark?" He asks, peeking his head through the door.

"Hey kid. Kinda busy right now, so could you find Steve or someone to talk to. I'll be down soon." Tony says, looking at whatever he was doing, not peeling his eyes off of it.

"Oh, mkay. Sorry for bothering you." Peter says before closing the door. He started walking down the hall to try to find Steve or Natasha or... someone. Because he didn't have anybody to talk to at the moment.

Once he walked around the building a bit, he noticed that they were both in the training room, along with Thor.

He decided to not even bother since he knew not to interrupt training sessions. Since those three were out of the picture, he went to go find Clint.

He wanted to find Clint because he knew Bruce wasn't around much and Peter would be very, very anxious to meet him, since he never has. And he hasn't talked to Clint, but he's been told that he's pretty cool.

Since Clint used arrows as a weapon and he didn't hear any noises in the vents, Peter assumed that he was in the target practice area outside.  Knowing this, he stopped in his tracks.

'He'd question me a lot since I wouldn't really have much of a reason to be there. And the reason I have is kind of pathetic.' Peter thought. He sighed and turned back, going to the lobby.

Once he reached the lobby, he walked to the wall and climbed on it, sitting down and pulling out his phone, scrolling through Pinterest. He sighed, bored. Usually he'd be with Tony at the moment, but he's busy, so he'd just have to wait.

But there was one other person in the building that Peter didn't know of.

Since Peter was distracted, he didn't realize someone walking into the room and stopping, staring at him. After a few minutes of being there, the person finally spoke.

"...uh." they say, still staring at Peter.

Peter, being startled, dropped his phone and fell off of the wall, face first. Great way to introduce yourself to someone. But since Peter had a sudden rush of adrenaline, he seemed to be fine and he grabbed his phone, scrambling to get up. Once he was successful in doing so, he looked back at the stranger.

"H-Hi, sorry I didn't notice you at first, uh..." Peter says, looking at the person. They had shoulder-length black hair with a metal arm.

"Don't worry, kid. I'm not mad. You okay?" He asked, still staring at the distressed teen.

"Yeah, I'm alright. My name's Parker. Peter Parker." He says, holding out a hand.

The adult took it, shaking it. "Bucky Barnes."

Peter took his hand back and widened his eyes. "Dude, you're the person Mr. Rogers talks about all of the time!"

"Oh really?" Bucky asks, smirking.

"Yeah! He talks about you pretty often. He's told me that you're the Winter Soldier. I've heard a lot about you. It's so cool to actually meet you!" Peter says, awestruck.

Bucky shrugs. "Oh well. Hey you seem to be a good kid. How old are you?" He asks.

"I'm 16." Peter responds.

"And what are you doing here?" He asks.

"I'm here to visit. But he's busy right now along with almost everyone else, so... I was just here on my phone." Peter responds, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Hm. One more question; How were you able to stick to the wall?" Bucky asks.

"Nothing- I mean- I dunno, I made... suction cups... for your feet?" Peter says, sounding unsure. Bucky just stands there, obviously knowing it's a lie.

Peter sighs. "I can't keep a secret Identity for five seconds." He mutters. "I'm Spiderman..."

"I fought a kID?" Bucky says, putting his hands on his head.

"I-It's okay, I was fine! I'm okay, really!" Peter says, trying to make Bucky feel better.

"You're 16, how were you able to do all of that?" Bucky asks, looking up at Peter.

"Um... super strength and spider sense." Peter answers.

"...I still feel bad." Bucky says, taking his hands off of his head.

"It's alright, you didn't know." Peter says, stuffing his hands in his pockets.

Both of them continue their conversation, talking about how their lives as Spiderman and the Winter Soldier is like. They talked for a little while before they heard someone come down the steps.

Peter and Bucky looked towards the steps to see Tony, staring at Bucky.

"What are you doing?" Tony asks, glaring at him.

"Talking with Peter." Bucky says, pointing with his thumb at Peter.

"I don't trust you with my kid, okay?" Tony says, still glaring at him.

"Your kid?" Bucky asks, looking at Peter.

"Mr. Stark, it's really okay, we were just talking and getting to know each other." Peter says.

"Fine. But if you touch my kid, you're dead." Tony says, leaving to go back to the lab.

Peter looks at Bucky. "Sorry about that... I should probably go after him. Talk to you soon, Mr. Barnes!" Peter says, running after Tony.

Once Bucky was by himself, he said to himself, "I've only known Peter for 20 minutes. But if anybody hurts him, I'll killed everyone in my room and then myself."

Peter catches up to Tony. "Mr. Stark, hey!"

"Hey kiddo. You know the person who you were talking to is dangerous, right?" Tony says, looking at Peter, putting an arm around him.

"He doesn't seem dangerous. He's actually pretty nice once you get to know him." Peter says, looking forward as they walk through the hall.

"Yeah, well. You still need to be careful." Tony says, slightly concerned.

"Whatever you say." Peter says.

After a few moments of silence, Peter finally speaks.

"What did you mean by 'my kid' earlier." Peter asks, looking up at him.

"Father's instinct." Tony responds.

"What?" Peter asks, smiling slightly.

"You heard me." Tony says. "My father never really acted fatherly to me. He never said I love you or didn't even tell me he liked me. So I want to break that now. I want to tell you that I care a lot about you."

"So, you're saying I'm like a son to you?" Peter asks, his smile widening.

"If you wanna take it that way, then yeah." Tony says.

Peter turns around and wraps his arms around him. "Thank you, sir."

Tony flinches a bit before returning the hug. "It's Tony, kiddo."
