Who I Can Be.

The best person I can be is me.

Not you,

Your hopes,

Your dreams.

They're not mine;

They never were.

I don't pretend.

Show you a mask.

I want to be me.

It's the best I can be.

So please understand.

If I please you,

I'm not being me.

I'll be another soul out there

Without identity.

So hard to sought today.

So if I have mine,

Let me keep it?

This is all I ask.

To be me.

Only me.
