Riley had been in Philadelphia for almost a week and she missed Lucas like crazy.

She never thought coming to visit her grandparents would make her so sad. She missed her friends especially Lucas.

She was still upset with him, but that didn't stop his heart from missing him.

She was spread out on her aunt's old twin bed in her old bedroom, where she was staying. She stared at the celling blankly, then turned over goaning.

Lucas perfectly white toothed smile played over and over in her head. Why does he have be so cute? She thought flipping through her scrapbook, photo after photo of her and Lucas popped out, some of her and Maya or her and Farkle popped up here and there but none made her want to rip het hair out like the ones of her and Lucas.

Smiling...

Laughing...

Kissing...

She couldn't help but to smile as she stared at the photo of her and Lucas, Lucas held her from behind, they were both support to smile into the camera but instead they found themselves staring into each other's eyes smiling. Their lips inching closer and closer until they kissed.

Maya had just snapped the photo when their lips had touched.

Riley groaned again. She didn't know if she should be angry or upset.

Riley was always so giddy and bubbly, always with a smile on her face. No matter how hard or heated problems got she was  always the one to help fix them.

But what could she do to help herself when she was three hundred miles away from the problem?

She'd wished she had never walked into that classroom, she wished she could unsee what she saw, then maybe things  would be alright between her and Lucas.

It was right before lunch,
Riley and Maya were walking out of class.

"I wonder where Lucas is?"

Riley asked.

"Is it still awkward between you two?"

Maya asked, smiling.

Riley sighed. It was still awkward between them. They agreed to be friends, to not grow up to fast but then they kissed during christmas break.

And Maya had caught it on flim.

"Yeah."

Riley finally said.

"I don't know what we are Maya."

"Riles, everyone but you and.Lucas know what you guys are. You both like each other, why don't you just go for it and make it a official."
