"It's all right." He looked at her and smiled. "I just wanted us to be here and alone for a while."

Kyle took her in his arm and she snuggled into his side. He kissed her forehead and sighed.

"I really missed you. I was so worried something would happen to you, that I would come back and see you walking around with reflective eyes. I love you so much, I couldn't have lived with that, with you being gone. I even told Ian to look after you but that obviously didn't go too well."

Melody kissed his cheek.

"Then when I saw you again I was so happy. No words can describe how happy you make me, nothing compares."

He pushed his fingers into his pocket and pulled out a necklace. One pendant hung down the necklace the other he hid in his hand so she couldn't see it yet. The pendant was a golden K. It was plain but Melody loved it regardless.

"I saw this in a store and wanted to give it to you."

"Thank you so much, Kyle. It's beautiful!"

"Wait till you see the other one." He opened his hand letting the second pendant slip down next to the K. Melody's lip twitched upwards before she suppressed it.

"You're an ass." She told him and he just started laughing loudly. "Here I thought my boyfriend was gonna be super cute and give me a beautiful necklace. And then that."

Next to the K hung a little figurine about the same size as the K, a small Koala eating a eucalyptus leaf.

She fake glared at him unable to hide her smile at his gift.

"Let me put it on." He told her once he calmed down.

She turned around, pulling her hair forward so he could put the jewellery around her neck. He kissed her unmarked neck after closing the necklace. He pulled her back against him kissing her deeply. They sat next together as the sky grew darker.

"Shall we go back inside?" She asked him after a while. "We could get more comfortable." Melody winked at him.

"Why wait? Lets have a romantic night under the stars." He opened a blanket he placed next to a lamp when he got here and motioned Melody to lay down. She grinned at him.

The two sneaked back into the caves and through the tunnels quietly. Everything was silent, nobody was awake anymore, as Kyle and Melody walked towards their room. They agreed to move her stuff back into their room the next day. Kyle carefully picked up the door and placed it aside before bringing it back in front of the door after the two adults entered the room.

The pendants laid comfortably against her upper chest, visible for everyone, as she laid down onto Kyle's bed. She was more than ready to finally go to sleep. Her boyfriend made sure she was exhausted and out of breath once he was done with her. She licked her lips as she thought about it. Kyle laid down next to her, his arms around her keeping her closer.

Her head was under his chin and she left little kisses and a hickey along his neck. Kyle moaned into her head. Ian snorred loudly and moved making the lovers still their movement.

"He needs to go. How fast do you think we can kick him out?" Kyle said.

"It's alright. We should sleep anyway." Melody told him and brushed her hand through his hair. He kissed her a couple more times before agreeing. The two fell into a dreamless sleep.

There were a few things Melody couldn't stand.
