Chapter 25

"My Jotun Blood"

LOKI'S POV

I've been talking to the councilors for hours, thank the Norns Sigyn helped me get out in that fiery pit, they're always saying some stupid suggestions, no wonder Odin is always short tempered, I didn't know this is going to be like this if you're a king, well here I am it is an honor to rule Asgard.

After I spend time with my lovely Sigyn, I thought if I can return to Jotunheim, my biological father is now dead, and I am the heir of the throne, I regret coming there before...

Odin stole the Casket to it's rightful home, and me

I never knew who my biological mother is.. but Frigga that I trust and I loved as my mother kept me as her real son.

I've now decided that I will return to my other home, with terrible memories and the woman I left cold heartedly.

I went to Heimdall, "Heimdall..." I said, calmly "Your majesty." he said, patiently I slowly walked up to him, "Bring me to Jotunheim" I said, command him 

He knew this will happen, he sighed and opened the Bifrost to Jotunheim, I stepped forward to the portal. 

It was winter, it was dark but it didn't bother me I went to the tower, there was nothing there not a single frost giant, I went further.

Dark memories, came into my mind.

"Why would you do this?" Odin said, his staff was very close to his neck, "Why would you abandon a baby left to die!" he shouted, Laufey was looking at his eyes, mad, angry, regret "This child will lose my empire! my throne!" Laufey shouted back, he was not pity to the child,

"You imbecile father! it's your child, Laufey are you not feeling pity to your own son!?" he said 

The child was crying, the mother of the child was dead killed by it's own husband, it was a newborn child.

"This child will give you a unfortunate fate! it has to die!" he shouted

Odin murdered Laufey, he felt pity to the baby that left there to die, he casted a spell so his appearance will change. 

He kept the baby, Frigga and Odin kept the child and raised along side Thor.

And it was me...

I quickly opened my eyes, catching my breath, I saw what happened before, tears fall down.. And I was just there, thinking what is the reason he kept me, why didn't he leave me, to die.

I was his enemy, the child of his own enemy and yet he kept me.

Raised me along side with Thor... Living with him, and living behind to his greatness.

"Loki Laufeyson, the Adopted Son of Odin, Prince of Jotunheim and Asgard, the rightful heir of Jotunheim." someone said from behind.

I turned around there was a frost giant coming out of the shadow, I frowned

"I thought all of the Frost Giants are dead.." I said

"They are not, they survived, they survived like you" he said

He went closer to me slowly

"We need you, my prince" he said, "you're our only hope!"

I was a little bit aware of his actions, he was moving suspiciously, I kept my eye on him, of what he is trying to do

"I have no intension to hurt you, My Prince" he said, he went closer to me...

I moved a little bit, "I just want the heir of the throne to come back" he said

He was now right in front of me, and he quickly grabbed my arm, and my Asgardian form is fading away, my skin is turning blue.

I was frightened, and shivering I couldn't  move

He summoned a ice sharp knife, and he cut my arm.

I started to move again, I quickly used the staff and I blasted him off, he was unconscious, I looked at him a little...

And I left his body there

I went back to Asgard, "Your majesty..." Heimdall said, and bowed

He noticed that I have a scratch on my arm and my armor was broken, "The Queen will be furious if she sees that my King" he warned me.

I laughed slyly, "I know... I know.... It will be a big mess" I said

And went back to the palace, I changed my clothes I looked at my arm, my Asgardian form was slowly coming back,

"Oh my Jotun Blood why is my ill-fated life before, making me break into pieces..."
