Chapter 17

We went back home, Tony and Bruce were at the lab,  "sorry, that today is weird to you" Peter said, "it's fine... I know it's not true, here in midgard mortals believe that I am the wife of Loki, but it's fine we're going to be." I  said, with a smile on my face,  

Thor came inside, "Brother, have you heard, the news from Asgard?" he asked, Loki turned around, "No..." he said, I curious too,  "What is it?" I said, Thor sighed... "The betrothal ceremony, starts today..." he said, we both startled, "what?!" I said, "is it starting now?" Loki said, softly Thor nodded, "Oh Odin's beard Thor! why didn't you tell us!?" Loki said, I rolled my eyes, "GUYS I NEED TO GO NOW!" I said to the others, "What?" Tony said, "Explain it to Tony sorry we're late!" I said to Peter, he nodded "All right...." he said, we both ran outside, and activated the Bifrost.

PETER'S POV

I went in to the lab, "What did she say?" he asked, "They're late to their engagement ceremony at Asgard" I explained, Mr. Stark stopped, "wait, she's going to engage to who?" he said, "to Loki" I said, he stand straight "well, that's quick, he just explained it earlier..." he said.. and he sighed, "those love birds" he said, and he continued back what he was doing.

Sigyn's POV

I see Heimdall standing, "Good Morning" Heimdall said, "We need to go now" Thor said, We went to the palace quick and we secretly went to our chambers, getting dressed up, someone knocked on the door, it was Frigga... "I believe my son gave you the message" she said, "Yes he did but late" I said, she chuckled "Now, let's try these beautiful dresses" she said..

She wears me a white dress, with gold lines on it, "can you turn back to your old form dear?" she asked, I nodded my hair was blonde again, and my eyes were gold, "it's perfect" she said, "Now lets go" 

We went to the side, and waiting...

The Ceremonial begins...

Loki and I stepped forward, and at the middle of the stairs, Loki was on front of me, we hold our hands, Odin banged his staff, "Today, is Betrothal Ceremony of... my Son, Loki Odinson and Lady Sigyn Iwaldidottir.." Odin said, "Lady Sigyn, do accept my Son Loki as your beloved Fiance?" he asked,  I nodded, "Yes, I do..." I said, looking to his eyes, "Prince Loki do you accept Lady Sigyn as your beloved Fiance?" Odin said, Loki looked at me in the eyes, and smiled "Yes, I do" he said, softly and calmly...  The guard went closer and gave us the rings, he put the engagement ring to my finger, and I put his....

We both turned around, and the people were applauded, happy and cheering for us... we both smiled, we were happy

We came back to where we were before, Thor came to us with the Warriors Three, "Congratulations brother!" Thor said, "Thank you!" I said, Loki smiled, "Perhaps we can dance?" I said, he looked at me, and grinned "Shall we?" he said, gently we went to the center, he grabbed my waist and pulled it closer to him, I chuckled...

he spinned me around, he let go of my hand, but I went closer to him, we started spinning, he lifted me up, and he brought me back to my feet, I hanged my arm to him and we were swinging, he went closer to my ear, he smirked and whispered "have you been practicing?" his voice were soft, I grinned "you noticed" I said, he smirked "impressive" he said, he turned me around his arms were wrapped around my waist..  he hanged his head to my shoulders,I smirked "comfy?" I asked, "I am" he said...  "alright..." I said, I let go.. I placed my hand to him, and I walked around him, I spinned around, and I put my arm in the air, and went closer to him, he caught me, and he pulled me closer, and we were looking to each other we were panting....

the Asgardians were impressed, they're clapping, we both bowed gently... We went back.

"Well, that was something..." Thor said,  we both chuckled, "Thor? Can I ask?" I said to Thor, "What is it Lady Sigyn?"  he said, "What about you and Jane, what's going on with you guys?" I asked.

"Eerr--.." he said, trying to find his words, "complicated" I said, he nodded he agreed.

Frigga came to us looked happy, and proud "That was wonderful, my darlings" she said, "Thank you mother" we both said, she looked to Loki, and said "Your father is very proud of you, Loki" she said softly.
He nodded, but I already knew he wouldn't accept it.

The Ceremony ended, for few hours, people were leaving...

I was staring at the stars in the sky, suddenly Loki arrived. "So, feeling relieved darling?" I said, he gave me that mischievous smile, "I am" he said softly, and I nodded, "Are you proud of yourself, darling?" I said, he looked down... he sighed "I am..." he said, sadly I looked at him, he sighed "after many have pasted, he accepted me as his son, I remembered being overshadowed, living into Thor's greatness" he said sadly.... it broke my heart, seeing him like this... "He should've left me there, in Jotunheim left there, dying" he said... I nodded my head, no, I hold his hand, "No... Loki, you should be grateful, that Odin hadn't left you there, or else you will never meet me, I will be all alone and I will not visit my birthplace, and;" I said, and I put my hand on his cheeks, "My Love..." I said, I hugged him tight...

"There is a reason why Odin kept you" I said.

He smirked "You sound like my mother..." he said I smiled "Do I?" I said

He breathed in and out...
