Jungkook had paid in anger, while Yeong Jin had desperately explained that Jimin had the right to marry me, and that "the Parks would hear about this."

He'd held my hand all the way back to the house, and hadn't let go until we were safely inside. "I'll speak with Jimin about this," he promised, handing me the shopping bag.

He disappeared into the house, while I slipped off my shoes. "Y/N!" Hoseok cheered, coming at me with full speed from the living room. "Thank you!" he said, taking the bag from me.

He took my hand, dragging me out of the hallway to the living room.

Everybody -except for Jimin and Jungkook- were present. The TV was playing a movie I recognized as Old Boy, maybe about a minute in.

Hoseok dumped the bag on the table, and Jin immediately flung himself at it. He grabbed a giant bag of onion and cheese chips, and ripped it open.

Hoseok was next, snatching a large chocolate bar which he ate half of immediately. "Jesus, mmh! I've missed this," he said in between bites.

"Missed it? Why?" I asked, taking a chip from Jin's bag as I sat down next to him. The others got their own treats from the bag, Namjoon settling with the carrots with happy expression on his face.

"Jin hyung never lets us eat treats," Hoseok explained.

"Why?" I looked to Jin, whose mouth was stuffed with chips. "You clearly seem to like them yourself," I said. "It's unhealthy! You ungrateful little-" He raises his arm threateningly toward Hoseok, hand full of chips, and I immediately stopped him by snatching his wrist.

"Wow!" Jimin exclaimed as he rushed into the living room, Jungkook walking in after him. Jimin took a bag of wine-gums, chewing happily.

"They're not just for you," Jungkook said, sitting down next to me on the couch. He chose some sour cream and onion chips, which he opened and placed between his right thigh and my left.

I sighed, trying to focus on the TV.

Something was tickling the back of my head, though, and I couldn't shake the feeling that it was something very, very bad.

"Namjoon-ah... It hurts. It hurts so badly..." Jin sobbed.

"You're doing so well, hyung. I'm right here."

I opened my eyes slowly, listening to what sounded like numerous people crying at once. The light was on in the hallway, but not in the living room.

There were shadows of two people in the bathroom, one hunched over and the other standing up.

"Hello?" I asked, shuffling over to the door.

Jin was leaning over the toilet, one hand gripping Namjoon and the other clenching the lid. His body shivered as he threw up, and Namjoon looked so full of pain and regret my heart ached.

"You need to move, Jin," Namjoon mumbled, his face utterly gray. Jin finished what he was doing, Namjoon now leaning in front of the toilet bowl and letting all the food he'd eaten go.

"N-Namjoon, Jin, what... What is this?" I felt disgusted at what was happening. I should've remembered this. Vampires couldn't eat normal food, so why had they done it tonight?

"Y/N-ah, sweetie, don't watch this," Jin begged, sitting down next to Namjoon as he rubbed his back soothingly. "Why didn't you..." I struggled to form the words. "Why didn't you tell me about this?"

Another thought struck me. "Jungkook."

"He's alone, Jin said, eyes watering. "Move, Joon." He pushed Namjoon to the side, throwing up again. "Oh, crap," I whispered, grabbing the side of my head. "Where is he?"

They didn't reply, just continued to cry and throw up and I knew I was the shittiest friend that had ever lived. I left them, trying desperately to remember where the other bathrooms were.

"Jungkook!" I yelled, running up the stairs as quickly as I could.

No reply.

"Jungkook! You stupid mothertrucker, answer me!" I could hear the others better now, and my first stop was the bathroom where I'd hid from them the first day.

Hoseok was sitting on the floor, an exhausted Yoongi resting his head in the younger's lap. "There, there, hyung," Hoseok sighed, his face so pale I could see his veins clearly.

The entire bathroom smelled of throw-up.

"Where's the others?" I panted, and Hoseok looked over to me with a tired expression. "I don't know," he breathed, and I ran in the direction of the other bathrooms.

Sprinting to another wing of the house where I knew Jimin's room was, I beat violently on the closed door to a bathroom.

Jimin was the one that opened. I hadn't even thought about him.

I threw my arms around his neck once the door opened, hugging him tightly. I'd missed him so much, and I hadn't even noticed. At the same time, I felt incredibly guilty. I've kissed Jungkook, I thought. I've kissed your friend. Your brother.

"Careful, Y/N," he muttered, and I let go instantly. "I'm sorry. Have you seen..." My voice trailed off as I saw him, sitting with his head over the toilet.

Jungkook.

Jimin peered from me to him. I looked up at him just in time to catch the hurt expression in his eyes, the disappointment, before he averted his gaze. I'll leave you two alone," he mumbled, and left the bathroom.

The vehement feeling of embarrassment lasted only a moment before Jungkook turned his head toward me, and I saw the look on his face. His jaw was shaking, but his lips curved into a smile when he saw me.

"Hey," I said, sounding a lot calmer now than before. "Hey," he replied. I walked over to him, sitting down next to him. He scooted to the side to give me more space, before reaching up and flushing the toilet.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I said after a while, looking at him accusingly.

"Tell you what?"

"That you couldn't eat. I remember Hoseok throwing up before all this started, but I didn't remember that you can't eat anything at all."

The usually courageous vampire looked defeated. "I'm sorry, Y/N. We just wanted to make you feel like you were part of a normal family."

Before my mind even registered what he'd said, my face cracked up in a wide grin. "Thank you."

He looked at me, confused. "Thank you? For what?"

My eyes stung, a hot sensation spreading across my face. I turned my eyes down, hands finding his. "Thank you, Jungkook. For everything you've done for me."

"Y/N, I... I haven't done anything. It's the others that have helped, not me, I-"

There he went, saying my name again.

I leaned forward, wrapping my arms around him. "I'm happy I have you, Jungkook."

"Huntress, you're scaring me. Did somebody give you alcohol?"

"Just shut up and hug me."

"Okay," he mumbled, drawing me closer. His hands rested at my back for a while, until they crept toward my neck. "What are you doing?" I asked.

"Hold on," he whispered, and the necklace's lock clicked. "Now you do mine." I reached behind his head, found the clasp and undid it.

He pulled away, and the necklace landed in his hand. I took mine in my hand, and we looked at each other for a while. "Does this mean you trust me?" I asked.

The single word that followed was all I needed.

"Yes."

So...hi.

I know I haven't uploaded in a while, but there's a lot of crap going on my life and I haven't had that much time to write this story. I have book two of this planned, and book three is coming along quite well, so I haven't stopped thinking about my readers.
