"Ask your dad!"

"No, I won't, Hobi!"

"Why not?"

"Because I just got out of the hospital?"

He sighed. "But if you don't, Jungkook will come over. I'm not kidding, he's so ready to go to your house right now, he's practically bouncing on his toes waiting for you to say either no or yes."

"I did say no!" I protested. "I want to sleep at my own house, oppa."

"Don't do that. Don't call me oppa just to make me surrender. Besides, I'm not done convincing you yet. Just say yes, please? I'll send Jin hyung to pick you up?" He sounded hopeful, and I sighed.

"Okay. Fine." I pressed the phone against my ear as I started to pull out my clothes for tomorrow. Hoseok cheered, and I heard him running through the house. "Jin hyung!" he yelled, and I pulled away from the phone. "Can you pick up Y/N from her house?!"

I didn't hear the reply, but I assumed Jin agreed, because Hoseok laughed. "Okay, thank you! I'm going to get the others, I'm sure everybody wants a piece of you tonight."

There was an awkward pause. "Hoseok..." I cringed.

"Not like that! Ew, no! No, no, no! Oh God, kill me!" Hoseok immediately went off, and I giggled. "It's fine, don't worry. What I assume you meant was that you're going to figure out who I'll room with tonight? Can't I just stay with you?" I asked.

"Yes, but also no. All of us want to room with a huntress, I think especially Jungkook. And Yoongi hyung. And maybe Jin hyung. And Namjoon. And-"

"I get it, Hobi!" I interrupted, turning on the speaker and dropping my phone on the bed. I had enough room in my backpack for my uniform, and I gave a silent prayer that it wouldn't get crumpled.

"Jin hyung's on his way. He'll be there in about ten minutes." A door shut, and I assumed that it was the oldest vampire. "Alright. I need to go speak to dad and ask him for permission. See you in a bit?"

"See you! Bye bye." Hoseok hung up.

"Dad? Can I ask you about something?" I ran down the stairs, entering the living room. He was sitting curled up on the sofa with a book, reading glasses perched on his nose. "Yes, honey?" He looked up, giving me his full attention.

"Can I sleep over at the boys' tonight? We'll go to school at the right time and everything, I just want to see him," I explained, attempting to sound as calm about it as possible. I could feel my pulse rising from the thought of sleeping close to Jungkook again, and even more importantly, Jimin.

"Oh... I was wondering if we could hang out today." The disappointment was obvious despite his attempt to hide it. I gnawed at my lip. "I really want to be with them. I'm sorry, dad, can't we hang out tomorrow? I promise you, I'll have time then."

He gave me a confident smile. "Okay, honey. Just come home early, so we can go out to a restaurant or something? We can go to the one with the jajangmyeon you like?" I nodded. "Yes! Absolutely. Love you, dad." I gave him a thumbs up, before hurrying back up the stairs.

"Do you need me to drive you there?!" he shouted after me, and I stopped halfway up the stairs. "No, Jin is going to get me!"

"Who's Jin?!"

"The really tall one with broad shoulders!" I replied, hurrying up to get the last of my things.

I hadn't been upstairs for more than about five minutes before the doorbell rung. I slung my backpack over my shoulder, bolting down the stairs for the second time as dad approached the door as well. "I'll get it!" I said, running past the kitchen into the hallway.
