Jake curled into Logan's side as he watched Finding Nemo, his full attention on it. "No, Nemo!" Jake said as he watched Nemo get captured by the scuba divers. Pam chuckled softly from the kitchen with Erika and Tessa, remembering Jake loving that movie when he was younger. "He would always want to watch that on movie nights when it was his turn to choose and we all would," Pam said with a smile, "No matter how many times we saw it. Logan would even sometimes choose that movie when it was his turn to pick, making Jake really happy." "Awe," Erika and Tessa said with smiles. "I loved Marry Poppins when I was little," Erika said. "I did too!" Tessa said which made them laugh. "We should have a movie night one of these nights," Pam said as she made some sandwiches for everyone. The two other girls agreed and helped Pam. "His Daddy is sad now," Jake said with a frown as he kept his complete attention on the big T.V. "Cause his son just got taken from him," Logan said, remembering this movie pretty much by heart since he watched it so much when he was younger. Jake looked up at him and then back at the television. It was quiet except for the sounds from the movie for a minute, but then Jake said something, catching Logan off guard. "Would you be sad if I ever get taken, Logey?" Jake asked and looked up at him. Logan looked down at Jake and opened his mouth, but nothing came out. He was not expecting to be asked that and he was so confused about why Jake would even ask it, especially since he is in full three year old mode. "Of course I would be," Logan said, his eyes getting watery a little at the thought of that creepy guy coming in here again to take Jake and/or maybe hurting everyone, "I won't let anyone take you though." "You're crying again," Jake said with a frown, "Did I make you sad? Are you mad at me again?" "No," Logan said and gave him a soft smile. Jake crawled into his lap and hugged him. "Don't cry," Jake said, "I don't like people being sad." Logan wrapped his arms protectively around Jake and kissed Jake's head again. "I dont either," Logan whispered softly as a tear went down his face, "I'm sorry." "It's okay," Jake said with a smile and looked up at Logan. Logan couldn't help but smile back a little. "Lunch is ready!" Erika yelled as the three girls walked out of the kitchen with a plate stacked with sandwiches. Jake turned around in on Logan's lap and got handed half of a PB&J sandwich from his mom. Pam sat down next to them and handed Logan a ham sandwich as she ate a Turkey sandwich. Everybody else came into the kitchen sat around talking or watched the movie while they ate sandwiches. "Thanks, Mom," Logan said as he quickly wiped the tears off his face. "You're welcome," she said with a smile, "Are you okay?" "Yeah," Logan said and took a bite of his sandwich. "I heard about what happened in here earlier with Jake," Pam said, "Has his mind changed back yet?" Logan shook his head, still thinking about what Jake asked him. "Are you sure you're okay, sweetie?" Pam asked. "Yeah," Logan said and gave her a little smile. Jake finished his sandwich and Pam cleaned his face off with a paper towel. Jake smiled and then continued to watch the movie. A few minutes passed and Jake's mind finally changed back to normal. "Finally," Jake mumbled and got down from Logan's lap. "Did your mind change back?" Pam asked. "Yeah," Jake said. "Jake, don't leave the living room yet," Erika said, "Your doctor should be here any minute now."  "Oh, okay," Jake said and then sat back down on the couch, but not on Logan's lap. He sat between Pam and Mike instead. He continue to watch the movie, getting really into it again. A few minutes later, the doctor walked in to the house with his work bag and saw that everyone is in the living room. "Hello everyone!" He said with a smile and everyone said hello back. Tessa paused the movie as the doctor sat down on the edge of the coffee table in front of Jake. "Hey Jake, how are you feeling?" Doctor Matt asked. Jake just shrugged his little shoulders and said, "Okay I guess." "You guess?" Doctor Matt asked and raised an eyebrow, "Jake, I need to know how you're actually feeling. This is your health we're talking about." "I feel fine," Jake said, "I'm just stressed and tired. I wish this was fixed already." "I know, and we're working really hard for that cure," Doctor Matt said as he checked Jake's heart beat, "I actually have some news about the cure." "Really, what?" Jake asked, "Is it good news?" "Yes," Doctor Matt said, making everyone's face light up, "Let me finish my check-up on you first." Once Doctor Matt finished checking Jake's health and sad that Jake is good, he started packing his stuff up. "We got and made quite a few of the ingredients for the cure," Doctor Matt said as he zipped his bag up, "We only need two more ingredients which, so far, I'm positive we're getting." Everybody let out sighs of relief and a few even cheered. Jake's face lit up so much and a huge smile appeared on his face. "So, I'm going to be changed back soon?!?" Jake asked, so much hope in his eyes. "So far, yes," Doctor Matt said with a smile and then stood up, "Well, I got to go. Busy day today." Everybody said bye and he started to leave. "I'm going to go try to talk to him first," Pam said and stood up. She quickly walked after the doctor to introduce herself to him since she just got here today. "See, everything is going to be okay," Anthony said to Jake with a smile from the bean bags. "Yeah," Jake said, looking so relieved, along with everyone else. "We should have a pool day and a family barbecue tonight," Logan said, "Like a family day." Everybody agreed on that and got excited. "Then everyone, get into your bathing suits, get the pool tools, and even some footballs or soccer balls," Mike said, "Anything you will enjoy to do in the backyard!" Everybody cheered and then left the living room to head upstairs while chatting excitedly. "Did they buy me a bathing suit?" Jake asked Logan as Logan stood up. "Hopefully," Logan said and picked Jake up. "I can walk," Jake said, feeling bad for Logan being so stressed and always helping him. "Oh, okay," Logan said and set Jake down in front of the stairs, kind of shocked by what he said. Jake slowly walked up the stairs, trying not to trip. Logan raised an eyebrow and watched Jake slowly make his way up, slowly going up behind him. "Okay, maybe you can help me up the stairs," Jake said midway up, tired already and annoyed by how slow he goes up them. Logan chuckled softly and picked Jake up. He set Jake down once they were at the top of the staircase and Jake walked over to his room. "Do you need help changing?" Logan asked. "No," Jake said as he had trouble opening his room door, but he did get it open. He walked in and shut it behind him. Logan chuckled again and went into the guest room to change. Logan looked in his bag of clothes and let out a sigh of relief when he saw his black swim trunks. He quickly changed into them and put a black shirt on. He left the guest room after he put a pair of expensive sunglasses on and looked over at Jake's room door. He heard a thump come from behind the door and got worried a little. He walked over and softly knocked on the door. He opened it and saw Jake having trouble putting on blue swim trunks. Logan chuckled and knelt down. He helped Jake put them on and Jake let out a soft sigh of relief. "Thank you," Jake mumbled softly. "Mhm," Logan hummed in response and stood up. He opened the door and waited for Jake to leave first. Jake just walked up to Logan though and stuck his arms out up at him. Even though he feels bad for Logan helping him a lot, he does obviously need it sometimes. Logan smiled a little and picked him up. Logan closed the door behind him and then walked over to the stairs, other people slowly making their way downstairs. Jake looked at Logan's glasses and slowly took them off. Logan raised an eyebrow at Jake as they made their way to the back door of the huge mansion. Jake put them on even though they're way too big and Logan laughed a little. Jake laughed too as Logan took them off of Jake and put them back on himself. They reaches the backyard and saw some people are already hanging out here in the big grass field or at the pool. Music is playing from a bluetooth speaker by Arie. Logan set Jake down once they reached the edge of the pool. Jake looked at the water that some people are already in. Mike, Anthony, and Chad are already swimming. Jake looked at the water and frowned, backing away a little. He doesn't know if he'll be able to swim still or have to learn how to again. He is kind of scared to find out. "POOL PARTY!!!" Erika and Tessa yelled as they walked over while laughing. They're in matching red bikinis and have long white shirts covering them. Erika has her hair down while Tessa's is up in a high ponytail. Everybody else who are walking over or already here cheered and laughed too. Soon, everybody are by the pool chilling on chairs, sitting on the edge with their feet in, swimming, or standing around. Everyone is talking, laughing, screaming, singing along to the music, and just overall, having fun. Jake is sitting on a white chair by a little table, drinking a caprisun that Tydus gave to him since he got one and wanted to share, so he gave one to Jake. Jake watched everyone else hangout and play. He smiled a little, feeling better now. Not as stressed and guilty about having everyone helping him so much and worrying about him, causing them to feel stressed too. Logan walked over to Jake and took his sunglasses off since he is going to go into the pool. He knelt down in front of Jake and carefully put them on Jake even though they're way too big for Jake. Jake smiled a little and giggled. Logan smiled too and saw his reflection in the glasses. He cringed a little and then fixed his hair as best he could. Jake laughed when he realized what Logan is doing and Logan did too. "Whatever, I'm going to be getting wet anyway," Logan said as he stood up. He walked away and Jake laid back more in the chair, the sunglasses still on his face even though they're so big on him. He smiled even more as he watched everyone. They all seem relaxed a lot more now and they're having fun like at the fair. Everything will be okay, Jake thought to himself, I'll get that cure soon and everything will be back to the way things used to be. Jake let out a soft sigh and smiled.
