The Scared Broken Boy [COMPLETE]

Chapter 30

        Jake kept crying all the way back to the Team 10 house in the back of a police car. His mind is still completely three year old and he was really scared now. Three year old him didn't really know completely what was going on, but kept thinking of Sam and Elizabeth, who he knew took him from his home and family. Twenty-one year old Jake knew what was happening and kept thinking of Sam and Elizabeth, but also the cure for him changing back being completely destroyed now. "We're pulling up to your house now, Jake," the officer in the driver seat said. Jake felt a little better at the sound of that and his quiet cries calmed down a little. He sniffed and softly said, "O-Okay." They soon were parked in the front of the house and he heard tons of voices outside of the car. He started to get scared again and started to softly cry again.

        Everyone is standing outside the front of the Team 10 mansion, talking nervously. Some are pacing around, feeling really impatient. Pam, Team 10, and Team Maverick heard that the police and SWAT Team got Jake safely and are bringing him here while the two kidnappers, who are apparently named Sam and Elizabeth, are going to the police station. "They're pulling up to the house now," Officer Patrick said to them. Everyone got excited and even more nervous, wanting to hug Jake so badly. They saw tons of police cars driving up the drive-way to the house and Pam started crying already. "My baby!" She cried out, "I hope he didn't get hurt much! He must be so terrified after this!" Erika gave Pam a hug and comforted her as all of the police cars stopped in front of the house. Logan stopped pacing and watched as tons of officers got out of the cars. He then saw one of the officers go to the back of his car and opened the door. They watched in shock as Jake slowly and nervously got out and the door then shut, revealing Jake's sad and terrified face. He has bruises over his little body and tears streaming down his face. They all can tell he is in full on three year old mode. Jake immediately started crying even louder as he saw all of his family standing there with watery eyes and huge smiles on their faces, wanting comfort from them. Everyone immediately ran up to Jake and started taking turns hugging him, checking his bruises, and making sure he is okay. Most of them are crying while others are trying to hold in their cries. Logan ended up getting in the back of the group some how, but he didn't really mind. He kind of let everyone go first, still feeling like it's his fault Jake got taken. He couldn't take much waiting anymore though and started to make his way through everyone to Jake, needing to hug him and keep him close. Logan saw Jake hugging Pam and then they let go. She kissed his cheek and he smiled a little, but is still crying a little. Jake then saw Logan and he knelt down, opening his arms. Jake ran into Logan's arms and immediately hugged him tightly, clinging onto him. "I'm so sorry," Logan whispered and kissed Jake's head, "I'm so so so sorry." He started to softly cry and hugged Jake tightly, keeping him close to him. Jake started to calm down and feel comfortable again reuniting with his family. He felt comfortable and safe in everyone's arms. He also felt like everyone else is comfortable and safe now too. His soft cries started to calm down as he hugged Logan and just kept his face buried into Logan's neck. Logan made Jake bring his head up and back up a little, but he kept Jake close still. Logan started to check on Jake, mostly his bruises. Jake's mind finslly changed back to twenty-one year old again and he sniffled. Logan looked into Jake's eyes and can tell his mind changed back. Logan smiled a little and wiped a tear off Jakes face as Jake smiled a little back. Jake then hugged Logan again and started to cry again, but this time, it's twenty-one year old him. All of his emotions he's been trying to hold in pouring out all over again, but not through three year old him this time. "Doctor Matt is almost here and wants to check on Jake," Erika said to Logan as he comforts Jake. Logan stood up and held Jake in his arms, keeping him close. "Did his mind change back, yet?" Erika asked. Logan nodded his head and softly bit his tongue inside his mouth, trying not to cry again. "We're all so happy we have you back and you're safe, Jake," Erika said softly and gently rubbed his back. She then walked away to leave Jake to calm down with Logan. Pam walked over and Logan wrapped one of his arms around her as he used his other arm to hold Jake. She wrapped her arms around Logan and Jake, hugging both of her sons tightly.
