Warning: Emotional, Violent, & Abuse [again, not that comfortable with the abuse, especially of a young kid, so not really any abuse, except maybe some verbal. There wasn't really any in the last chapter, but there is most likely some here, but not much again,,, pls don't hate me, especially after the last 2 chapters! I'm so sorry about all of these plot twists and horrible writing! :(]

"What's the news, officer?" Anthony asked, worried about his best friend. "Is it good or bad news?!?" Pam asked, a tear going down her face. Everybody watched and listened to the officer closely, worried about Jake. They all wished he was here with them right now so they could hug him and keep him close to them all, protecting him like they're all protecting each other right now. Why couldn't this just be a nightmare and I could just wake up from it right now, they all thought to themselves. "Well, good news in a way I guess," Officer Patrick said, not really knowing how to answer that question, "No one got hurt!" Everyone got confused at that, but a little relieved at the comment about no one getting hurt. "What do you mean?" Spencer asked. "We were chasing the van that the two kidnappers and Jake were in," the officer explained, "We weren't really getting anywhere, so we thought of an idea. We sent in undercover police cars to the chase and then acted like we lost them by having the other two police cars not follow them anymore. The plan seems to be working right now, because their speed decreased and their driving got less crazy. So now, they're being secretly followed by our two undercover police cars so we can hopefully find out where they're taking Jake." Everybody seems even more relieved at that, knowing their is more of a chance of getting Jake back now. "That's actually a good and smart idea," Arie said. "We better get Jake back!" Chad said, "I don't know what I would do if we lost him!" Everybody else agreed with that and Officer Patrick smiled at them. "We're trying our best and we won't stop until we get him back," he said. "Thank you so much!" Pam said as tears streamed down her face. "I miss him so much and it hasn't even been a day of him gone yet," Tessa said and started crying again, "He is one of my older brothers! Everybody here is like a sibling to me! We're family!" Erika and Pam hugged her and started to walk her to the merch room so they could be alone for a bit to calm down. "Let's go back to the living room so they can continue their work," Mike said and the rest headed towards the living room. Logan was about to go to the living room as well, but a grip on his shoulder stopped him. He turned around and Officer Patrick let his shoulder go when they were facing each other. "You okay, kid?" The officer asked him, "That was a pretty brave thing you did earlier. Chasing after those kidnappers when you don't know what weapons they could have and not knowing what they could to you." A little sad smile appeared on Logan's face, remembering that. He was trying not to think of it, because all he could mostly remember of that chase is Jake's loud cries and screams to them and his face expression. Jake's sad, scared, broken expression on his little face and his loud cries and screams keeps replaying in his mind though, no matter how hard Logan tries to not think of it. "He's my little brother," Logan said softly, his voice cracking a little, "One of my best friends. I'll do anything for him, especially to protect him." That's all Logan had to say for the officer to understand. "I have a son and daughter," Officer Patrick said, "I'd do the same thing for them." Logan smiled a little more and then went to the living room and Officer Patrick went back into the kitchen.

Jake rocked back and forth a little in the cage, tears streaming down his face as he listened and watched Elizabeth and Sam. "What should we do first?" Elizabeth asked, "We can do and test whatever we want with him." Even more fear ran through Jake as he shut his eyes tightly, wishing he was back home with his family. "Whatever you want to do first, babe," Sam said. Jake tried to block them out for now and think of good, happy memories with his family instead. He smiled a little as he remembered some, like barbecues, pooly parties, movie nights, family dinners, vlogging, concerts, meet and greets, and all of the trips everyone been on together. His mind traveled back to the situation and he then remembered somethings Logan told him a lot during this situation.
