The clock read 1:53 am and Momo was packing her things. She had enough of living the fairytale life. She wants love, but her boyfriend wasn't up to it. He is too busy picking up other girls and hanging with them, instead of his own girlfriend. She tried so hard to be a good girlfriend, but it was not enough. He kept promising he would change, but ends up going back to his old habits. She is done standing by watching. She did it for so long and now it ends. Momo got her bags and moved to her car. She got everything in the trunk and closed it. She got in her car and drove away. She kept on driving, as she looked in the rear view mirror to see her now old town getting smaller and smaller. She doesn't need a prince on a white horse to save her. She is her own princess saving herself.
Momo kept driving, only stopping for gas, quick bathroom breaks, and snacks, until she couldn't drive anymore and stopped at a rest stop to get some sleep. Not once her phone went off, asking where she is or why she left. ..... -Three Months Later-
"Hyung, you're staring again," said Ren to Minhyun, who was watching Momo, serving a customer. "Just go up to her and ask her."
"I can't do that, I mean she is working right now," he said, pointing out the fact. Ren rolled his eyes at him, as Minhyun sighed. "But you got to admit she is so pretty."
"You been making goo-goo eyes over her for the past two weeks and you don't even know her name."
"I do so, it's Momo," he said with a smile, "Peach in Japanese." Momo went to the back and came out a few minutes later, out of uniform and with her bag. Minhyun stood up, as Ren smiled. Minhyun was finally going to speak with her.
"Pay for lunch, get you next time," he said to Ren, before running after her. Ren Just pouted, as he got stuck with the bill.
"He better get at least her phone number out of this." ..... Minhyun hurried after Momo, as she was walking across the street to get to her car. He looked to see someone on a motorcycle, heading towards her, as he hurried over and grabbed her by the waist.
"What..." Momo didn't have a chance to finish her sentence, as he pulled her to safety and watch the motorcycle zoomed right by them. Minhyun was still holding Momo, walking to the sidewalk for safety. Momo looked up at him, as he had a smile on his face.
"Are you all right?" Momo nodded, as he released her. "I'm Minhyun," he said, holding his hand out. Momo slowly held her hand and shook his.
"I'm Momo," she replied, giving him a smile. Minhyun knew he had to make her his. .... -Four Months Later-
Momo was getting ready for her third date with Minhyun. Momo has been careful around him, as she still has a fear of him, being her ex. She told him about her fears, as he explain to her he is not like that. So far, he was right. He would always make time for her no matter what. He has surprised her with all kind of things. If he keeps this up, she is going to have a heart attack.
The doorbell rang, as she got her purse and shoes on. She opened the door to see Minhyun standing there with a single pink rose. Momo blushed, as he gave her the rose.
"You ready?" He asked, as she gave him a nod.
They went to the fair, as pretty much the whole town was there. They were enjoying themselves, as they got yummy food, got on some settle rides, and try to win at the games. Minhyun was able to win Momo a teddy bear she named MinMin. Yet during the date, Momo felt something watching her. She kept looking around to see, but it was nobody around. She didn't want to freak out Minhyun, as she just shook off the feeling.
Momo was sitting on a bench, waiting for Minhyun to come back with drinks. She was holding the teddy bear close to her, as someone walked up to her. She looked up and saw her ex-boyfriend. Momo jumped up and try to leave, but he blocked her from leaving.
"Momo, I have been looking everywhere for you," he said, as she shook her head. "I'm sorry about everything and I want..."
"No Jimin, I can't," she said, taking a step back. "You hurt me enough and I was not happy." Jimin looked at her with sad eyes, as he got on his knees.
"Momo, I'm sorry I was a bad boyfriend. I should have been there for you. I shouldn't have flirted with other girls. I have change for you and I want another chance." Momo just stared at him. Unknown to her, Minhyun was listening in, wondering what she is going to say.
"I'm sorry but no. You and your white horse is too late." Minhyun smiled, as Momo was standing up for herself. "I am seeing someone else who is nothing like you."
"How do you know he won't do the same thing to you?" Minhyun had enough, as he went to Momo and took her into his arms. He stared down at Jimin, who got back to his feet.
"I'm nothing like you that's for sure," replied Minhyun. "I have proven to her, as you made her heart so weak to trust. I will never be like you. I want to be the man Momo can trust." He didn't wait for Jimin to reply, as Minhyun walked away with Momo. She was hugging the teddy bear tight, as he gave her a kiss on the head. "It's all right, I'm not leaving you." Momo gave him a nod, as he turn his head to see Jimin staring them down. He is ready to punch him if he tried to come up to Momo again.
He took Momo to his car for them to go home. Momo turned to faces him and gently placed a small but soft kiss on his lips.
"Thank you my prince," she whispered to him, as she pulled away. He kept his arms around her waist and smiled at her.
"Anytime Princess," he answered her. "Do you think we can..." Momo giggled at him, as she could see him blushed. She nodded, as he leaned in giving her a kiss. Momo knows that her prince is Minhyun and he will not be like her ex. ..... Jimin: -crying- why am I the bad guy to Momo? I'm sorry, random name pop in my head. Momo: -hugging Jimin- we all know you aren't bad.
