"I'm sorry but we have to break up." Momo looked at her boyfriend, well soon to be ex-boyfriend, as she was in shock. They have been going out for two years. They were one of the best couples in K-Pop. Why is he doing this to her?
"But...I thought we were happy together," she spoke, as Jun sighed. Momo looked at him with questions.
"I fell in love with another," he said, looking at her in the eyes. "I want to be with her than you. We are over, please find someone who will love you." He walked away from Momo, as tears coming down her face.
"Jun...please...I love you. I will change for you!" She called out, but he didn't hear her. Momo collapses in front of the Christmas tree at the park, as she cried. Breaking her heart on Christmas' Eve. She thought this would be it, he proposed to her. Everyone was hinting it, but instead her heart was crush. She held herself, as she just cried. The Christmas present for Jun was long forgotten in her pocket. A trip to China tomorrow to surprise his family for Christmas.
Momo found out a few days later, Jun was officially dating Solar. "I will never fall in love again." Momo coved you herself, as she doesn't want to feel the hurt all over again. She doesn't want false hopes. She just can't do it. ..... -One year later- Twice was at one of the end of the year awards show. Momo really didn't want to be here, as she know she will have to see her ex-boyfriend, Jun from Seventeen. She still can't get over their break up, but she puts on a good act to show everyone she is fine. She still haven't gone out with another man since the break up.
"Good evening," said Seungcheol to the girls of Twice, as they greeted Seventeen. Momo didn't look up at any of them, because she just couldn't. If she did, she would have seen Jun staring at her with love in his eyes.
"Hello there," replies Jihyo, as the two groups spoke. Momo just stay back on her phone, as she didn't want to mingle with anyone. She just want to get away from them, but she can't be rude.
"Hello Momo," she heard his voice, behind her. She put her phone away and took a breath. She need to put on the act she moved on from him. She turned around to look at him with a blank stare and no emotions in her eyes.
"Hello Junhui," she said, "it's has been a while." Jun could see through her mask she had over her face, but he wasn't going to cause a scene. "How is everything going?"
"All right I suppose. Busy with my career...." he spoke, as he sighed. "Listen...about last year..."
"I'm glad you are doing well. I have been fine as well," she cut him off. "It was nice to talk with you but I must be going." Momo walked by him, as Jun reach out and grabbed her wrist.
"Princess..." It was hjs nickname to her, as she pulled her wrist free.
"You don't have the right to call me that.m," she replied, without turning around. She walked away from him, like he did that fateful night. She was holding herself back not to run to him and hug him. He still have a girlfriend and they have nothing to say to each other. ..... Momo was back at the Christmas tree in the park on Christmas' Eve. She doesn't know why she was here, but maybe it want to give her closure. She doesn't have anything tied to this spot, except for her break up with Jun. Momo crouched down and sat down by the tree.
"I don't know why I'm here," she said, pulling at the gift she was supposed to give to Jun last year. She didn't tear it up or throw it away, just kept it. Momo sighed to herself, as she held the envelope in her hands. She was going rip the last piece she has of Jun. Two hands stopped her, as she looked up to see Jun stopping her.
"What are you doing here?" Momo asked him, as he took the envelope from her hands. He opened it to see it was plan tickets to China for last Christmas. Momo just looked away, as Jun spoke.
"Why didn't you tell me this?" He asked her, as she shrugged. "This is important."
"You broke up with me," she replied, as she stood up. "It should be good for a refund. Maybe you can get tickets to go with your girlfriend and have them meet the family." Momo was about to leave, as Jun wrapped his arms around her waist from behind.
"You need to know the reason," Jun stated. "I had to break up with you because of management. They wanted me to dated Solar for promotions of your albums. I was against it, but I had no choice. I didn't want to break up with the love of my life." He held her close, as he rest his head on her shoulder. "It was a long year for me. I was miserable the whole time. I only kept going for the fans and my members. I wanted to run to your door and beg for you to come back."
"Jun...you have a girlfriend..."
"No we broke up after the promotions was done. It was only like three months. I wanted to go back to you, but everything had been crazy for us." Momo kept her stone face, as she got his hands off her waist.
"I'm sorry to hear that, but I must be going. Hope you fine love in the future," she said. She was going to leave, as Jun ran in front of her and stopped her.
"I can see you have not moved on from me. Why would you still hold those tickets?" He placed his hand on her cheek, making her look at him. "I'm sorry Princess. I want you back. I always did. I know I do." He let her cheek go and kneel down in front of her. "I was going to do this last year until all that drama." He pulled out a diamond ring and show it to her. Momo gasped at the sight, as he took her hand.
"I want you to be my wife. I can't bare to go another day without my Princess by my side. I done it for a year and i thought I was going to die. I am never going to leave you again. I love you Momo. Please say yes to make me the happiest man in the world." She could feel his hand shaking, as the ring in his hand was shaking like a leaf.
"I know you want this, as I want this too. I was so hurt, lost, and vices to never love again. I knew I was fooling myself because I love you so much. My heart broke every time I saw you with her. I just gave up on love to work on my career. I have rejected many dates, because I had the slim chance of hope you might come back," she finally admit her feelings to him. Her tears were spilling, as she looked at him. "I love you Jun and yes I will." He slipped the ring on her finger and stood up. He pulled her close and place a soft kiss on her lips.
"I love you so much, Princess.
"I love you too my prince." They shared another kiss of love, as they got back and engaged on Christmas' Eve.
