"Daniel," he heard a soft voice calling to him, as he turned to see his girlfriend, Momo. "Are you all right?"

"I'm fine, sorry," he said, taking her hand and giving it a pat. "You gave my attention now."

"You sure? If you aren't feeling well, we can end our date," she said, looking at him with worry eyes.

Momo already know he was thinking about his ex-girlfriend, the girl he was with a long time, her ex member, Jihyo. Since they been dating for four months now, she always was careful about bringing her up to Daniel. Momo and Jihyo has a huge fall out, which Momo made the decision to leave Twice. She didn't want the group to hurt because of their fallout. Plus everyone likes Jihyo more than her. Momo knew it was a risk to date her ex member's ex-boyfriend, but she took the chance as he asked her out. Momo is working for Daniel's company as a solo artist and believe it or not, she is actually doing decent.

"I'm fine, just a bit tired of promoting my album. I don't want you to worry," he replied, giving her a kiss on her cheek.

"You know I'm always going to worry," she replied, as he smiled.

"I know, I will try not to make your worry. Come on, let's enjoy our time together." Daniel kept a hold of her hand, as they walked to the local coffee shop to get something to drink.

Daniel has been having an internal battle with his brain and heart against two girl. Jihyo, his ex-girlfriend of two years and Momo, his current girlfriend of four months. His mind is still on Jihyo, but his heart is telling him Momo. Maybe he shouldn't got into a relationship with Momo so soon after his break up with Jihyo. The two friends now ex friends didn't talk to each other and Momo left her group as peace. He felt bad and gave her an opportunity to move on with her career with his company. Yet he still linger back to Jihyo. They had been together so long, but Jihyo was too focus in her career to commit. He knows both girls are opposite of each other, but still has that battle, who is best for him.

"So you wanted to meet with me?" Daniel asked Jihyo, as they were sitting at a cafe. Jihyo called him out of the blue, stating she needed to talk with him. Daniel told Momo he needed to do something, as she was fine with it. Yet deep down she knew he was going to meet up with Jihyo. She did fear the end was coming, but was going to support him no matter what.

"I do," she said. "I'm sorry for doing you wrong and I want to give us another try. This time it would be different."

"How so and you know I'm dating someone."

"Look I know you are dating her to fill the hole of our break up. I understand she is just a rebound. I was upset with her when she told me you are dating now. Sure, it did affect our friendship and group, but she did what was right in leaving," Jihyo began. "But it made me realized how terrible I was to you. Yes, I did break promises, dates, and miss special events for you, but we still had a good relationship." Daniel just let her talk, as he was thinking to himself.

He wasn't happy at all with Jihyo. Well at one point he was happy with her but then he kept lying to himself. He was the only one putting out in their relationship. She didn't do anything for him from helping him, taking care of him when he was sick, or even make time for just a stay at home date.

With Momo, it was so different. She put in the same amount, as he did in their relationship. Momo would stay with him into the early morning at the studio, as he wouldn't be alone. Momo has took care of him many times when he gets ill. She would run around to get him what he needs and stay until he was asleep for her to just crash out on the couch so she was close by. When he suggest a stay at home date, Momo would reply if they can wear the jammies to be comfortable. He was much happy with Momo in the four months than the two years with Jihyo.

"We did have a relationship but it is in the past. I'm happy with the relationship I am in," said Daniel, standing up. "I have no interest in breaking up with my girlfriend. I hope you will find happiness with someone else. I have found mine." Daniel left Jihyo, sitting there in shock what he told her. She thought they could get back together, but that was not the case.

Daniel felt a weight lifted off his shoulders, finally able to make the right decision. He stopped by the florist to pick up a small bouquet of pink roses for Momo. He knew she would be in the studio, working on some lyrics for a new song. He hurried over there to catch her. He made it to the studio to see she was sitting at a table, writing. He had a smile on his face and entered the studio quietly.

Momo had a pen in her hand, while thinking to herself what to write next. She felt something wrapped around her waist, making her scream and using her pen as a weapon and stabbed. She heard a scream, as she was let go free and saw it was Daniel holding his hand and the roses on the ground.

"Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry, baby," she said, going to him and checking his hand. She did get him a bit, as he was bleeding a little bit. "I'm sorry!" She hurried to get some tissues off the table and help the bleeding to stop. "You gave me a fright though, Daniel."

"I'm sorry, Princess, I didn't mean to do that," he said. "I just wanted to surprise you."

"Well I was surprise," she kissed him on the cheek. He picked up the roses and hand it to you. "You didn't have to do this."

"I wanted to show how much I care for my girlfriend. You have been the best thing that has happen to me." Momo just gave him a smile but then faltered a bit. "Is there something wrong?"

"This isn't goodbye is it?" Daniel sighed, as he pulled her into his arms and kissed her forehead.

"No, I never want to say goodbye to you. You are now my present and future," he said, pulling back to look at her. "My past is where it going to stay, the past." Momo smiled at him, as he loved to see her smile as it is so bright. "Do you want to go out tonight?"

"Can...can we just stay in and have a home cook meal? I really enjoy those dates, plus we get to be in comfortable clothes," she spoke to him, feeling shy. "But if you want..."

"No that is just perfect," he said. "I have a recipe I been wanting to try for a bit." Momo gave him a little quick kiss on the lips. Daniel was surprise, as it was their first kiss they have share on the lips. They kissed on the cheeks and forehead, never on the lips. Daniel had a smile on his face, while Momo was shy that she did that. "If you are going to kiss me, it should be longer."

"What?" Momo didn't have time to react, as he pulled her close to him and we'd a kiss on her lips. Momo closed her eyes and enjoy the kiss with Daniel, forgetting about everything around them but each other.
