"Vernon," yelled Seungkwan, pounding on the bathroom door. "You got to come out! Our concert starts in thirty minutes!"
"No, tell them I'm sick," he yelled through the door, as he was sitting on the floor in a panic. He can't do this, but he has been planning this for three months. He pulled a box out of his pocket, as he opened it to show a pair of silver rings. One is his obviously, as the other is going to go to his soon-to-be girlfriend, aka his good friend, Hirai Momo of Twice. He fell hard for the Japanese dancing machine, since they met in 2015, their rookie year. Momo with her blonde hair and sexy outfit for Like Ohh-Ahh could catch anyone's eyes. After getting over his fear to speak with her, she was way different and pleasant to be around with.
Over the last four years, they became really close friends. They have been to each other's family homes for holidays. They celebrate each other birthdays, even if they are away from each other. They have gone on vacations a few times, not alone though. They know each other secrets better than their own members do about them. Vernon finally went to a Twice concert and really enjoy it, especially Momo having fun. He even got his own Candy bong lightstick. Now it was her turn to come to his concert. He already got her text that she was here and a picture of her with their Carat Bong lightstick.
"Vernon, sweetie," called out Jeonghan, knocking softly on the door. Vernon does trust him, as he put the box away and stood up to let Jeonghan in. Jeonghan closed the bathroom door and hugged him. "You getting the jitters."
"Yes, I'm scared she might say no," he said. "I don't want her to say no and I ruined four years of friendship." Jeonghan broke the hug and looked at a scared Vernon.
"Now I doubt she will say no to you. Everyone already believe you are a married couple," Jeonghan told him, "Besides, you two are made for each other. She is the only girl besides your mom and sister that makes you smile." He is right, as she is one of the few girls in his life that can make him smile no matter what mood he was in. "So you ready to get your girl?"
"No...I think I'm going to throw up..." Vernon said, moving to the toilet and he did indeed threw up. Jeonghan pulled his hair back and rubbed his back. This is going to be the longest three hours of everyone's lives. ..... Momo was sitting in the crowd alongside with Vernon's family. She was excited to finally be at his concert. She always wanted to come but she was always on her own tour. His family knew what Vernon was up to and they are proud of him taking that step. His sister told him it's about time he ask Momo to be his girlfriend. They all love Momo like she is already part of the family. She turned on her Carat bong light and nearly blinded herself on how bright it was. Vernon send Momo a special Seventeen shirt with his name on the back, one of a kind shirt. She did the same thing with a special shirt for him when he came to the Twice concert.
Momo was enjoying herself throughout the concert. His sister was teaching her the fan chants, as they were dancing to all the songs. Vernon and the boys waved over their way, as she returned it. She had a huge smile on her face, seeing how happy he was.
"The concert was coming to an end, as the group were standing and talking with everyone.
"We do have one more surprise to share with everyone," said S.Coups, looking around the crowd. "Where is are dear friend, Hirai Momo?" Everyone pointed to where Momo is, as she pointed at herself with confusion. The camera was on her, showing her on the big screen. "Get down here and join us?" Momo shook her head. This was their concert and she shouldn't interfere. "Don't make us come and get you." Momo looked at Vernon's family, as his sister took her lightstick.
"Go on, the boys trust the fans won't try anything. Plus they do have a surprise," said his mother. Momo nodded, as she started to make her way to the stage. Everyone let out a cheer, as the boys were cheering for Momo. She made it to the stage, as Vernon help her up the stage. She stood in the middle of the group. DK got a stool and made Momo sit there.
"It's time for us to show our girl group dances and we have a girl group member who can judge us," said DK. Momo waved at everyone, as the boys prepare for their dance off. 'Yes or Yes' started to play, as Momo had to laugh. She had seen the boys danced to her group song before. They started singing and dancing, as she just smiled at them. Before she knew it, Vernon grabbed her hand and pulled her to the center of the stage. Momo was thinking she was going to dance with him, as he took her hands into his.
"Hey," he spoke to her, as she gave him a smile. "I want to ask you something really important."
"In the middle of your concert?" She whispered to him, as everyone had their eyes on them. "Can't this wait?"
"No, it cannot not. I have been waiting too long to wait anymore." Vernon tossed his mic to Mingyu and spoke softly to her. "Momo we have been friends for four years now. I love being your friend and..." he looked to see Momo starting to get Tears in her eyes. "Oh Momo no, I'm not breaking up our friendship, never think that." He wiped the tears from her eyes.
"What are you trying to say?" This is now or never, Vernon.
"I want to be more than friends. I want you to be my girlfriend." Momo looked at him in shock with her eyes getting big. "I have fallen for you and been in love for the last two years. I didn't know how I could tell you."
"So you decide to tell me you love me in the middle of your concert with 50,000 fans can see you proclaim your love for me?" Momo pointed out. Okay he was really using Plan E at this point. "This is going to hit Youtube by the end of night."
"I don't care if it makes it on national television. I want to know if you, Hirai Momo, would be my, Chwe Hansol Vernon, girlfriend? And you only have two choices, Yes or Yes." Momo gasped at him, as she pouted at him.
"You are using my song against me." He nodded, as she closed her eyes. She did not think this would happen to her. Okay she did think of him asking her out but not in the middle of the concert with everyone watching them. Vernon just confess his feelings for her, as she looked up at him.
"Do yo really mean it? That you love me? I don't want to be..." Vernon stepped closer to her, as the fans were screaming at the drama in front of them.
"Kiss the girl," said Mingyu, as Wonwoo hit him. "Come on it will be romantic."
"I mean everything. I love you and I would never treat you wrong like that asshole before." Momo took a deep breath and gave him an answer.
"I guess we are both slow in confessing." He looked at her puzzled, as she smiled. "I have been in love with you since last year after the nasty break up. I didn't want to tell you my feeling because I didn't want you to think you were a rebound."
"So you still haven't answer me. Is it a yes or yes?" Momo rolled her eyes and scream her answer.
"YES!" Everyone cheered, as the members were singing and dancing to Yes or Yes once again. Vernon pulled her into a hug, as he dug in his pocket to give her the matching couple ring, except he left the box in the bathroom where he was puking his guts out. He will just give it to her later, as he continued to hug her to enjoy their moment. ...... Here is the picture of the wheel...well some of it.
